OMFG HOLY MOTHER OF MARY IN HEAVEN I CANT BELIEVE IT WTF WHERE ARE MY SEDATIVES AAAAHHH
I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer:

Does the BBC Sports broadcast channel air repeats of the qualifying and race events? If so, how many hours after the Live broadcast do they re-air them? Please let me know, since I will not be able to watch them live :(

As far as I remember, the Beeb don't repeat the Euro races because they're already on during the afternoon.

You can just watch them on the iPlayer if you're in the UK.

If you're in the UK, and the UK only, you can watch all of the F1 races and interviews, red buttons stuff, everything, all on the BBC iPlayer. You can watch them live and for 7 days after the race is finished.

But the iPlayer doesn't save the races in HD.

@Foliorum: I thought you were in the UK? How can you NOT have BBC HD?

I refuse to pay for HD on top of my normal subscription charge.

And I live in a shitty part of Wales where the signal drops half the time on Freeview as it is.

I wish BBC would put it up in HD on the iPlayer. Cheap pikey bastards.

<3 the Beeb really.

Yeah, only US here. If the BBC rebroadcasts a repeat of the event, I was thinking maybe one of the streaming sites would air it. But no one seems to know if they air repeats of the races :( :( :(

They repeat the early races (Asian ones) but I'm not so sure about the Euro races.

Can you PM me info/invite? Demonoid can be a bit slow when it comes to F1.

Cheers BRAH.

Edit: Only if they upload BBC in HD though.

Same here. Been using demonoid, but would love a better alternative.

P3 starting.
Indeed.

While this track isn't my favourite, the Chinese GP shown that sometimes an amazing GP can come out of a not so great track.

So, RBR still in front, or is the McLaren now basically on par? I still reckon that Vettel (despite his off yesterday) will be the best bet for pole, but with the tyres in play, you never know where the race will go. Hoping for Mercedes to close up a bit too, and for Renault to get back some of their early season pace.

Red Bull and Vettel looking very fast this morning.

Mercedes also showing the same good speed as yesterday.

Qualifying will be interesting. Mercedes looks god. McLaren has more to give. Red Bull's advantage is shrinking. Ferrari might surprise.

Mclaren did not bring as many upgrades as others, they will bring some huge stuff into Barcelona

What i would like to see is Vettel vs The Old one in first corner

Ferrari will replace engine in Felipe's car, as a precaution and they will check Fernando's

Scorecard: Istanbul Qualifying

The Scorecard is a handy tool for you to have during qualifying. It provides a handy overview of a drivers best and worst qualifying results. How did drivers do during their career, this season or on this track. Know the stats before the commentators on TV mention them.

I liked the insight into the Williams development process. of course the problem in F1 is simple, for every .1s that a team gains, usually the other teams will have done the same soon enough, so the targets move along with the improvements. The key is staying ahead of the development process, something Newey seems to be adept at.

Anyway, as for Quali, otherwise known as the Vettel show. I honestly can't see any result other than Vettel on pole, but we'll see. More interesting is the Ferrari/Mercedes/Renault battle. Mercedes look quicker, and Ferrari need to improve very badly. I honestly don't want to call it, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Rosberg 5th or maybe higher if the top two teams have problems.

Really enjoyed that segment on the Williams factory. Wish we had more segments like that.
Yeah that was a very good feature. Seeing how much time and effort goes into developing that one part and then it gets smashed in practice and isn't even used for the race.

Darn. Kobayashi's car failed and didn't make it to the pit lane, so that's the non "new team" car out of Q1 then. Of course that means that the teams can now avoid using soft tyres too, so that helps everyone else.

Can Koby now participate at the race tomorrow, or is he out due to the 107% rule?
I'd hope that in his case, they'd make an exception (as can be done in exceptional circumstances). I'd honestly think that rule only applies when it's a shithouse team/driver. Koby should be fine. Fingers crossed.

Di Resta 18th :(

Edit: 9th! Fucking great effort.
