I didn't see anyone using the supersoft reds that session.
Track is still too green for that.

Lewis was very fast in his last attempt, fastest S1 and S2, but he went straight into the pits.

You can be sure of one thing, if 'the moving chicane club' won't make it onto the grid, their will be protests that the other cars are illegal.

then the front runners should run a lottery at each race, the "winner" has to waste a set of options in Q1 and kick them out ;P

Kolles has said he won't protest in Monaco

I wonder if Vettel will be extra desperate to win this weekend. Given that he's really the only top driver that hasn't.

Probably... but of all the races this is the one where having the best car probably makes least difference over the course of the race. Especially given the tyre situation this year, and what will happen if you end up at the wrong part of the track when the safety car comes out.

Brotkasten, PP last year was in 1:14.xxx IIRC

Yeah, he got lucky in the hairpin.
In fact I just put my "first to drop out" bet on him on F1 Race Manager. :p
Ferrari is dancing all over the place

I've been betting on Maldonado for every race this season so far, so far I'm 2:3 haha.

EDIT: Massa is trying to end his Ferrari contract early!

RBR and Mclaren are doing heavy fuel runs, this is very obvious. Ferrari is lighter fo' sure.

Vettel already did 15 laps on Super-Soft

Commentators seem to reckon that tyre wear isn't bad at all. Interesting.
Vettel did 25 laps on supersofts, Button also more than 20 without any major performance drop (only due to traffic).

So how much are RBR sand-bagging? Does this unique track level the playing field with Ferrari, Mercedes & McLaren all in a close battle.

The Ferrari looks miles better on the soft tyres, it all depends on tyre wear and who can make the least amount of stops.

Senna is having one showing at my cinema, so I just booked seats! Woop.

I'm too young to have seen him back in the day, but I think it will be an interesting film and the chance to see F1 on a 4K screen? Hell yes, son.

hm Vettels lap didn't look like he was pushing it all to the max plus he made two little mistakes. but i think it will be a close battle for pole on saturday.

Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton, Button - one of those four can do it i think

I thought Hamilton looked pretty strong on his heavy runs. Will be interesting to see, with what kind of strategy they come up with.
The wild card is probably, if RBR already put all the cards on the table yet.

Ooh, and I totally see Massa hit the walls in Q2 on Saturday. Whats the right english term? fishtailing?

Can't find anywhere showing it here so I just ordered the Blu-ray instead.

If you frequently watch the races live and own an iOS or Android device, should definitely check out this app.

Also seems to have some very mixed reviews.
There could be many reasons for that (different hardware, different versions of the software, etc).

I just listened to an interview with Otmar Szafnauer (COO for Force India; creator of this app) and he talked about the improvements they've made over the years. I personally think this app sounds fantastic (even for the price) but I almost never watch races live and I don't own an iOS/Android device.
