Mercedes duo nearly crashed into each other.

Remember when I told you, that when Schu quits, Merc would get Ham?
As Schu didn´t commit yet, its now the other way around. If Ham takes the Merc offer, Schu is the odd man out.

If ferrari are looking for someone for one year, maybe schumi to ferrari for one last year would happen. Or maybe that's where Alguersuari is going. Though I can't really see that happening.

They were talking there about Alonso's goal being 3 world titles, and what would he be like after that? Contractual issues aside, it would be awesome if a top driver after achieving his personal goal, went to drive for one of the slower teams like Caterham or whatever and gave them a leg up.

A driver could push a team maximum 10% of the total performance, its money that does the rest.

Which also some drivers can bring in the form of sponsorship

Not happening. It would be absurd to dismiss Perez because of inexperience and not having enough results in F1 and then hire an even more inexperienced with even less results like Alguersuari. Not to mention the fact that Alonso and Alguersuari hate each other.

I don't think Alguersuari was ever linked to Ferrari before. It's probably like it was posted before. If he goes to Caterham, Kova is probably getting Massa's seat.

I just spend a month in Southeast Asia with shitty televisions and shitty signals. Came home to a Panasonic 42" plasma and porn like city views of Singapore in high definition.

Hamilton with a silver Helmet?

To be expected the RB would be fast again here.

McLaren definitely have the best all-round car though.
Agree, this is a track like Valencia that suits Vettel well. The McLaren looks to the excellent around here too for both drivers so far.

I bet it has better aero than the HRT.

Going to be hard to beat the McLaren this weekend I reckon.

Alonso was surprisingly confident about their pace.

“Lewis (Hamilton) is second at the moment and since February, we have said that he is the one that probably I respect the most, because we know what he can do in good cars or bad cars. In terms of strategy, it is almost impossible to cover five drivers, as they can make pit stops at different times, so in this race, we need to cover whichever driver is closest in the classification, which means Lewis at the moment. McLaren has won the last two races and so they are the favourites here as well. Hopefully we can stop their dominance: we have brought some new parts for the car and are optimistic that we can do well here and at the next two or three Grands Prix. We need to see how we perform on Friday, but our aim is to fight for pole and the win in this race. We were competitive in Monaco and Canada, which are similar circuits and so we are optimistic. We know how important is pole position here.”
