LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
Batman would just get the higher ground....no contest.

ok Dead get out of my head!

Come on, man, you aren't even trying here. With enough planning Batman can beat anyone. Duh.

But Anakin can sense his preparation because he has Force powers. Ah hah!

Yeah, just like he sensed Obi-Wan cutting his legs and arm in mid air for jumping in like a reckless little bitch.

I thought this thread was gonna have a little more legitimacy, something like....

Mohammed Ali vs Butterbean or Bob Sapp.

Ali versus Sapp? Shiiit... Ali could take down Bob Sapp today.

The greatest fight ever would be Ali in his prime versus Tyson in his prime. It's hard to say who would win.

I said a little more! But tyson was a punk anyway. It would be nice to see ali fight a lennox lewis without a glass jaw.

Tyson would absolutely mutilate Ali

I agree, Ali played a patience game but Tyson wouldn't give him the chance and would just charge at him and kill him. Tyson wouldnt give Ali any respect.

I think even Batman would have a hard time beating an angst-ridden, clairvoyant 20-something armed with a weapon that can slice and dice its way through more shit than a Cutco carving knife.

I think I should pm Biff. I'd imagine he'd probably have something to say to you guys for thinking that Tyson in his prime would "kill" a prime Ali. :lol

The topic match would be easily won by Batman.

He would just take the upper ground and own Anakin.

Obi-Wan is the only Jedi who could win a battle from lower ground.

See Example A: Darth Maul's Torso for more details.

I think a prime Ali vs prime Tyson fight would go much the same way Ali/Frasier 1 went, except the knockdown would come much sooner and Ali would have a bit more trouble getting up from it. I think a young tyson would provide the same sort of challenge to Ali that Joe did, except tyson was stronger and faster than Joe ever was. People seem to forget that tyson was more than just a slugger back in the day, he actually had technique. He was very difficult to hit and was relentless in his attack. Now I do think Ali would beat tyson.....in the rematch. But in that 1st fight, tyson in 5 rounds.

Ali.

Tyson is a quitter.

This is so easy to answer...

Darth Vader was beaten by Luke Skywalker.

Luke Skywalker is played by Mark Hamill.

Mark Hamill plays the Joker.

The Joker consistently loses to Batman.

Thus, Batman could easily defeat Vader.

But how does this relate to Kevin Bacon?

Yoda will win.

Yoda couldn't even beat the Emperor...even Mace Windu did that.

Anyway, Batman could probably beat King Kong in a fight, nevermind Vader.

As for Tyson vs Ali, Ali's footspeed along with his longer reach would enable him to keep his distance from Tyson, stretching the fight out when Tyson is less effective. But Tyson was a really hard guy to knock down, so I think he'd win by decision due to being more aggressive.

He quit one fight when he knew he was done...big deal.

The man stayed in the ring 9 or 10 rounds for one of the most one-sided beatings I've ever seen against Lennox Lewis. Any lesser man would've thrown in the towel LONG before the obvious conclusion.

Ali in his prime knocks out Tyson in his prime.

I can't believe you guys are even comparing the two. Who the hell did Tyson ever beat that was actually any good? Ali beat Hall of Fame boxers and he beat some of them when he was past his prime. Tyson was a good fighter, but he mostly knocked out underweight tomato cans who were terrified of him. Don't always buy the hype.

Joe Frazier was not as strong as Tyson, but he was a better fighter. Those hooks of his were just ridiculously accurate and Ali beat Foreman who was the biggest hitter ever in the heavyweight division.

Finally, I give Ali a 40% chance of beating Kevin fucking McBride today. That was a disgrace from Tyson.

P.S. Tyson might not have been the greatest fighter ever and he surely would have been whupped by Ali (even after his prime), but Tyson did have one of the best sports games ever.

My god. Some of the things that get said at GAF. Ali vs. Tyson, both in their primes. Ali wins the fight easily. Why? Because the type of fighter that ALWAYS gives Tyson trouble is someone with a good jab. Ali had a GREAT jab, and handspeed that was unmatched. Yes, Tyson had skills back in the day, but he never came close to fighting anyone with the skills of Ali, who was just a complete fighter in so many ways, including ring generalship. Ali would outlast Tyson in the early rounds and knock him out late, 9th or 10th round. Remember, Ali's day, they still fought 15 rounds. Ali's record reads like a list of whose who in his era, while Tyson's reads like a "whose that".

Edit: For the record, Tyson, who is a student of the sport, and has very impressive knowledge, has said many times that Ali is the greatest heavyweight of all time and that he couldn't beat him.
