Yeah really they pull so many plot points out of both, but Seed Destiny is more of a Zeta rip off than Seed is a rip off from MSG in my opinion.

Also Kamille didn't take forever to learn from everything. He was more or less decent by the time the middle portion ended. His time with Four actually had a positive effect on him cause I think it opened him up emotionally where as Shinn's time with Stella just seemed to emotionally cripple him. Luna and Fa are just two different people. Fa was clingy yes but she seemed independent. Luna was outwardly strong but by the end just seemed weak so Shinn had a replacement weak girl to protect.

Beltorchika when she appears...damn...that woman is clingy. Kamille learns fast cause Kamille isn't dumb at all. Stella's got nothing on Four. Four's one of my UC waifu's for a reason. That woman is committed to her man, Stella was just fucking crazy. Stella could've been a tribute to Four if she was actually a competent character, but she's not, she's just some ran over dog that Shinn found on the street that he took in.
Plus Freedom is the size of 78-2 and will sell gang busters.
Zeta's characters are lot better than what people give them credit for. Jerid's made to look like an asshole for field goal kicking Kamille in the forehead, but they take the time to actually show the guy grow up along with Kamille, it's just that he doesn't have the same amount of potential that Kamille does. You see Jerid grow close to people and suffer and get fucked with just like with Kamille. If you're in the Titans it's about living just long enough to see the people ahead of you die so you can get that promotion...you'll see. Emma was smart as fuck. I think she had the bulk of the cast figured out pretty well. She wasn't a stranger to what people on that ship thought and she knew how Kamille felt and why he felt it. Eventually they get along pretty well actually.
Zeta is all about the transforming mecha. Some people like it others don't. I love it though and it figures that you with your Macross love would love it too. You see the cheese wheel of doom yet? Though I'm sure you did.
