ZZ's great though...

I'm almost finished watching X and I'll post a good summary of my thoughts on it, but when I finish my ZZ re-watch I'll tell you guys why I love it so much.

One thing I think is really well done though in ZZ is all the little character quirks in their movements that makes them feel more "real" than most anime where everyone stands around or only engages in big movements for important scenes. ZZ always seems to have the characters on the move.

Fuck I forgot about the Moon Moon arc...

Totally feels like an episode is missing before this starts though---the last episode ends with Glemy and Leina together and Beecha and Mondo ending up on the Endra, but then in this arc Glemy has apparently gone to his own ship and Beecha and Mondo have already won over Chara without any explanation beyond "she likes us". Weird.

I got into Gunpla in the last year or so because I saw a pic of Barbatos and read up on IBO. About 12 epiaodes in, the show isn't doing much for me. Too much talking, not enough plot progress or action.

I guess I'm mainly looking for an action show with good animation. Preferably 26 episodes or less, though if a show is really fucking good I'm OK with more.

I don't watch that much anime, but my favorites of the last several years are Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Kill la Kill.

Am I mainly looking at 08th MS Team, Unicorn OVA (though with the upcoming show, who knows) and maybe Thunderbolt? I tried the first episode of G-Reco, and it was pretty much incomprehensible, though the art is really pretty. And I can't stand the character designs in Seed. Turn A is really interesting. Love the suit, one of my favorite kits.

What should I watch?

The fate of the division is entrusted to Daryl who lost Psycho Zakku and ability equipped with reuse P device.

I wouldn't even know where to put all that stuff. I have a hard enough time figuring out where to store my photography equipment these days. I have a bag with a stand, tripod, LED light, soon to be lighting umbrellas in my closet resting on my clothes. Where Gunpla is going to go, nobody knows.

Right now I have four shelves that go 6 feet high and and 3 feet wide each, all are filled with Mecha models, figures, mecha shows, novels and some random anime women.

I've always been a Jupiter and Mars person myself. They're just the two hottest ones.

Breh, don't even. Mercury>Venus>Mars>Jupiter>Moon. Clearly.

Edit: To provide a clearer answer, the only thing I'm certain of is that Mercury is the best and Moon is the worst. The others are kinda just there in the middle personally. That's just the order that popped into my head.

I'm a brunette man for the most part. I actually do like Mercury. I just have a hardcore crush on Jupiter and Mars.

when i'm at work i check macross world regularly. once in a while i get ambushed w/ NSFW pics of anime figures posed in front of their valks, One time it happened, someone walked by and gave me a look. it's pretty embarrassing...
after i shared what happened, they stopped posting figures in the mech threads. LOL (they're pretty considerate). they have a dedicated thread for figures since Macross always had idols... but i never click of them.

i rather watch mechs then plastic figures... can't really get into them.

Sweet goddess we couldn't be more different Mercury is the worst.

Also Mars/Moon is nearly canon in Season 5 of the 90's anime. Rei is bat shit with her relationship and need to protect Usagi.

Anyway. If I could get a Relena and Dorothy set of figures or Allenby/Rain they would join my shelf as well.

The suits weird me out and I really desoise so many of ots fans I just wrote it off.

I really should give it shot.

Freedom 2.0 look decent to me. I hate those canon tips though.

That's because it is. The designers made the v-fin more Strike Freedom-like, added sides and cut-ins on the front of the shield, and added a whole bunch of bells and whistles to the rail guns and plasma cannons. I also don't like the longer barrel and crunched top of the beam rifle, and I'm not sure about some elements of the upper torso.

Most of the other changes are pretty good imo and despite all the bad things I've said I'm still undecided on it.

yea I can't post magazine pics here, but the "all guns out" pose looks rough on it. At least it is not a p-bandai exclusive so I can think about buying it before it is sold out.

They have a strict anti-cancellation policy.

If you really want to, you could try emailing them and explaining the situation. Explain that a version of the product you prefer has just been announced and ask if they plan on carrying that version, if so you would like to change your order to that, if not ask if you could cancel your current order or change it to something else instead.

It would also be a good test to see how flexible their customer service is.

yeah, they're pretty strict and have cancelled people's preorders in the past if you try to cancel too many times.
