I'll maintain my zen. Not Gundam, but gonna be working on XenobladeX Skell 1/48 model, but I'm gonna be looking around for paints. I guess while I'm at it I can look into spray set-ups.

what the hell why is Victory gundam 1 and 2 both 75 bucks each.

I wouldn't mind paying that price if everything else that was two parts cost 45 bucks.

The RightStuf site has them for their normal pre-order price. Don't know why that didn't carry over to amazon this time.

I stopped watching Iron Blooded Orphans after around the 15th episode, since I stopped feeling really engaged overall a while back. It was my first Non UC Gundam, but I've gotten the itch for all things Gundam again and decided to give another non UC show a try.

My choice:

And after the first episode I think it was a wise decision. I can see myself really enjoying G Gundam since its so different than the Universal Century.

Stick it on top of your Roomba and it will be like the real thing

So the HG Legilis got back in stock much sooner than I expected and HLJ was like "yo pay for your shiz"

ok I guess I'll do that

The plan right now is to put it together with my dad and my brother who's a huge Unicorn fanboy, but yeah, I'm expecting it to take months

Brother doesn't actually know I bought this, and I ordered a sheet of decals he wanted that should arrive around the same time. The look on his face is going to be priceless*.

Congrats on the PG Unicorn purchase! That's a hell of a build. One of the most interesting Gundam builds I've done. Just a word of warning, be careful threading the LEDs, particularly in the legs. They are very delicate and easy snap the wires on. I had to resolder one of the wires on mine for one of the leg LED sets since I broke it off. With some patience, you should be fine, but it's certainly the most nerve wracking part of the assembly.

Final product is more than worth it.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

So jelly.

Planning to save up for it over the next month or two. Then again, it may be relegated to a Christmas buy depending on what the announced price/release date is for the PS4K/Neo.

Yeah, dad enjoys building models and has watched a couple of the series with us, but my bro is in DEEP.

His Christmas gift for our mother last year was a Bearguy.

Lucky. My dad thinks I do good on model kits, but other times considers them a waste of money.

And he also refers to every single one as a "Gundam Wings" model. Every. Damn. One. Take a guess why.

Though slightly unrelated I did get him to watch Steins;Gate and he liked it so maybe there's hope.

Guys I am halfway done with the straight build of the MG V2 and damn is it fucking amazing.

The transformation system is so fun and easy. transforming it into a mobile suit is badass.

only negative so far are of course the arms. The arms are finicky but surprisingly the shoulders are stable.

will post pics in a few of what I am talking about

Meh because we have had Bawoo kits relatively recently and some of the potential RE/100 suits haven't had a proper kit before/in ages.

Just annoying as it is the enemy ZZ suit that gets a lot of attention while others haven't had any since the 80s.

I'll never get a Queen Mansa kit.

Nice haul!

Thanks guys; I got the Guncannon snapped together tonight and took my first stab with the markers- I know people generally recommend brown panel lines on red suits, but I liked the look of the black ones on the box, so I went with black on the red and grey on the head- I really don't think pictures do justice to just how much a rough panel lining can add character to a kit; he looks so much more dynamic and really pops in-hand. Gunpla is awesome.

IBO has some really unique mobile suit designs, the one you have there looks more like something out of Armored Core than a Gundam series.

They seem fairly polarizing, but I really dig a lot of the IBO designs, and they certainly stand out next to more traditional UC and UC-inspired suits; I really love the Kimaris Trooper's weird looking helmet face and dumb fold-out centaur legs- I'm gonna have a good time panel lining it for sure.

So much for saving for other things. Ah well, cheaper than Rightstuf at least.

first time watching? think I might rewatch this. war in the pocket is making me want to watch more old school stuff

Not the first time. Saw the Toonami run and also got the Bandai Anime Legends DVD sets. But I admit to not having seen it in 4-5 years.

Edit: Obviously Build Fighters but dunno if it's from the upcoming OVA or the manga or what.

All I know is I want a kit of this Delta/Stargazer thing.
