Hm. If that's all from this hobby show, probably nothing I'm picking up. I already have a couple things I'm buying in the next few months. Maybe I'll pick up an RG Unicorn... one of the variants anyway that will inevitably come out, if the kit itself turns out to be ok.
One thing I didn't see anyone commenting on is that the RG Unicorn looks... a little too line-heavy. I can say the final result doesn't look as distinguished as past RGs, but my gut reaction without looking at other pictures is that it's not really more line-heavy - The lines just don't work as well here. That on other RGs the extra lines serve to provide more definition while here they just appear distracting and, because the scale's so small already, there's no feasible way to mute the lines further (for the average modeler to fill in anyway). For comparison, I like the extra lining on Dragon Momoko's take of the PG Unicorn, and that kit has the advantage of a much larger scale so its lines are much thinner relatively and appear to lightly accent instead of providing broad definition.
