Watching Shinn getting roflstomped in the end is pretty much the best part of Destiny. That and towards the later middle part when Shinn is practically jacking himself off and Athrun comes from out of nowhere to shit on his parade. The look on Shinn's face is hilarious. Dude couldn't even defeat a half comatosed Athrun.

Glad to see I'm not the only person who likes the Infinite Justice. Good timing enough, saw someone streaming a few episodes a day of Seed and Destiny, aside from the awful character personalities and decisions by the main cast, reminded me I honestly love that world and how much string pulling there is. Easily in the "holy crap how can't you see they are fcking with you" level of obvious string pulling but some of them were cool. Love when they photoshopped the Freedom out of a fight and what not. Definitely need to get more kits of it (never got around to Strike Rouge like I wanted earlier this year)

Athrun was half-hearted in his effort to support ZAFT due to distrust of the higher-ups. Shinn thought Athrun was a fraudulent, incompetent pussy as a result. He thought wrong.

I don't know why Shinn thought that after Athrun routinely tried to smack some sense into Shinn, but Shinn doesn't listen to anybody not named Rey, Durandal or his dead sisters cellphone anyway.

Well, it's because Shinn thought Athrun didn't have the heart to do what needs to be done. AKA blindly following orders. He was kinda right about that, though. Confirmed when Luna snitched on him, and then Meer, delirious from thirst, snitched on THEM to Athrun. Remember when he talked shit to Athrun after he used 2.5 trillion dollars worth of equipment to 'kill' one soldier like a total sociopath? And what's worse, he was unsuccessful, and his failure to kill this single soldier led to the eventual defeat and dissolution of the Durandal administration's government.

And yeah I completely remember Shinn talking shit to Athrun after "killing" Kira. I have no idea why Shinn thought Athrun would want to drink the champagne for killing his childhood friend. Shinn had no fucking brains at all. I know he's kind of the "Kamille" but Kamille was never that fucking stupid or emotionally dense and Kamille seen some shit too.

I honestly expect an RG 00 Qan[T] sometime soon.
A Qan[T] would be OK, but I'd take any of the other Season 1 or Season 2 protagonist suits before that. A Harute would be cool as well.

I think it's when you can pinpoint when he finally crossed the line, and he no longer serves what he believes to be right but is instead has been manipulated by Gil to the point of brainwashing. When he offered words of celebration to Athrun, he was passive aggressively accusing him of being a traitor for sandbagging against Kira, knowing that he would be more deeply wounded by Kira's passing than victory for ZAFT, but cannot outwardly show it. A real calculated move to wound his commanding officer the only way he can without being subordinate.
It's no secret no one likes Shinn. Lowe Guele and Gai Marakumo much better.
But SEED universe had and still has so much potential with (Destiny) Astray.
So much unused stuff ranging from Testament Gundam to Dreadnaught, Hyperion, Regenerate, Astray Out Frame.
Tons of backpacks like the Destiny pack, Zaku Wizard packs, Gaia pack. Bandai could capitalise the shit out of SEED backpacks and mobile suits.

I think what made Shinn so easy to manipulate was just the fact that he had no real moral groundings. He was so caught up in the death of his family that he just used his tortured soul logic as a reason to do whatever the fuck he wants and nobody really calls him out on it except Athrun and occasionally Cagali. His argument process was "scream louder" and everybody just kept making excuses for him. Then Gil shows up, coddles him, makes him a member of Faith and all the positive reinforcement makes that weak simp all fucking weak in the knees. Does anybody want to remind me why people see Kamille in him? I mean I can see some parallels, but from a personality stand point it just doesn't fit with me anymore since I've seen Zeta a good amount of times and noticed the type of growth Kamille had, cause it really wasn't there in Shinn. That and Kamille wasn't a character so bad to the point where they had to use the previous shows protagonists to steal the show from him.
It's hard not to shit on Shinn, just thinking about some of the dumb shit that man has done is agonizing. You expect me to feel bad about Stella? Shinn must be out of his god damn mind! Dude fucking rescues that weapon of mass destruction and gives her back and then she nukes a town two episodes later. Of course she dead, that mad dog needed to be put out of her misery. She's not even a half ass Four since Four was cuter and actually loved Kamille.

This was my limit in Destiny lol. Much less the fact that Kira shot above the cockpit and rams the shield above it to try/actually kinda does save her. She was dying before she got in the thing, Shinn gives her to the exact people that were hurting her, then is surprised they used her again to kill a few million people.... then blames Kira for doing more for her than he ever did in a single moment and being a -not-murderer. Geeze that whole thing irks me to no damn end haha.
The shinn bashing can literally be an episode by episode example geeze.

Shinn might be my least favorite anime character of all time. He's just such an awful protagonist, and the sad thing is, he didn't have to be. But rather than give him a good payoff where he realizes what a puppet, hypocrite, and just general all around douche he's been after some major crisis he himself helped cause occured, he progresses from being a whiny, shitty douchebag, to a whinier, shittier douchebag. He gets actively worse from the start of the series, rather than getting better
Shinn was creeping on a girl who clearly had some sort of developmental issues. I have to feel like he's his own worst enemy.

Is Shinn quite possibly the whiniest Gundam protag? I know Amuro and Kamille were whiny and needed to get slapped senseless and beyond senseless in Kamille's case, but they came out of it better characters.
Worst thing about Shinn is that they ended up throwing Lunamaria into dealing with his crap character as an end of the series love interest.
Like I was okay with her throughout SEED Destiny and those last few episodes killed her character to me. Like you can't convince me that Luna actually ended up forgiving much less loving Shinn after all that...
I would like to think we live in a world where SEED Astray was animated right after instead of Destiny and that we got 50 episodes dedicated to Lowe and Gai with their awesome Astray Red/Blue Frames and the Amatsu Black Frames.
Make Destiny the novel instead...

I was talking more about the Stella stuff. While the show never real painted them as explicit love interests, the whole thing was just really weird.

Yeah Luna was perfectly fine until she got character assassinated by a relationship that defied all kinds of logic. It's like she couldn't handle Athrun not liking her so she lost her god damn mind because of it.
Oh ok. Yeah the Destiny just did that in my opinion cause Zeta did it, but couldn't even pull it off anywhere near as well, cause Four and Kamille were written way better and Stella was nothing more than a protection object to fill the void of his dead sister. Half their damn dialogue was "Ahhhh" and "I'll protect you! STELLAAAAA!!!"

He's like Sasuke tuned up to another level with even shittier hair and an even shittier obsession. Even Lelouche didn't act Shinn bad when he thought his sister was dead.

Another part of it for me is that, while she was emotionally unstable, Four still appeared to be pretty normal intelligence wise. Stella felt seriously developmentally challenged. The way she was written was like she had the brain of an eight year old. Made her and Shinn's relationship come off as really creepy.

It isn't that bad, resin is pretty durable, you just need to careful not to over sand anything. If you made a mistake you can try sculpturing it back using glue and putties.
But yeah resin dust is disguising, I made the mistake of cleaning my table without mask or using wet towel, I felt like shit for the rest of the day.

It also didn't help that Stella barely had the cognitive maturity to really care for Shinn or make her own decisions the way Four did. You knew Four cared about Kamille with how she interacted with him and even fought her brain washing to help Kamille. Stella could barely wipe her own ass by comparison.
Shinn was a mistake. He's nothing but trash.

Genteikits no longer does, gginfinite no longer does, hlj no longer does and its super frustrating...I have a PG Strike Freedom about 70% done but somehow lost a whole damn runner and cant seem to find anyone who can get me a replacement!
Im working on filling my glass case up and Strike Freedom would look real nice in there.

You could try emailing Tatsu Hobby. They are a NorCal hobby shop who get stock from Bandai.
They might be able to help you snag one or you could try to see if Samuel or other third parties can get you your runner.
Either way it will take a long time to process since you are not in Japan.
Did you move? You could try to keep looking or look which exact runner you're missing. You can try recreating the parts with plaplate.

Nothing really recent, most recent I think is the Extreme Blast Destiny that comes with a Kira and Shinn figure.
I've never done replacement runners from them but they're a really good and really nice local Hobby Shop for me. About 30-40 minutes away when I visit San Jose.
They provide a lot of services like letting you use their airbrush and compressor and limited items. I figured they might do something to help a customer.
Maybe try providing them the replacement cutout in your manual as well.
