no bully riddhe pls

So the Zeon rival also pilots a red Zaku?

It's the Psycho Zaku, yeah. There's a lot of Red Zakus out there, but at least this one's differentiated a good bit.

"How many thrusters can we strap to a Zaku?"
"All of them."

Johnny's Zaku is still the best red Zaku.

It's not like Char's Zaku is red anyway :p

He only got a red mobile suit years later. Never got why he was called the Red Comet.

I hope the soundtrack to this thing is all jazzy. Ideal scenario: Watanabe overseeing it and doing action animation work with Kanno doing the actual soundtrack.

Kind of sad we still don't know what the hell this is going to be. It's almost certainly an OVA, unless they're limiting IBO to 1 season. That seems super duper unlikely with the merchandise push.

Quick reminder, if anyone is looking to get in on the Hyaku-Shiki 2.0 sale at HLJ, you might want to jump on that soon. The sale has a couple days left, but since the kit is low stock right now it probably won't make it until the end. It's a fantastic deal, so I couldn't resist it personally. Going to end up shipping it when the Transformers Unite Devastator hits in December.

Finally almost done with the Dom R-35.

Now I have just the hip thrusters and the gauntlets to complete. This took waaay too long. I know I asked before but anyone have any tips to speed up building?

RG Quanta looks good.

Nice, although I'm still salty that they teased the RG Dynames and Virtue like a year ago, and nothing came of it

Also, Freedom MG 2.0? The original Freedom MG was pretty nice, didn't think this was necessary, but sure why not

Yeah, only 4 parts, and the first episode is only 18 mins. No wonder they managed to get it done so quickly for a special screening next week. :p

Staff is pretty good though!

I called that MG Freedom 2.0 after the Revive, it really needed one to modernize like the Strike RM and I may pick it up.

RQ QanT, not bad. probably P-Bandai Full Saber.

Could be worse and be a Hobby Japan Magazine exclusive like the RG Wing Zero Caledvwich weapons.

That stuff is the bane of my existence. I think the most recent was when I went back to HG Hi-Nu Vrabe. Rifle and a shield that isn't stupid.

Are P-Bandai exclusives sets one can pick up in Japan? I'm planning on going there for vacation next September or so and was hoping to pick up some rare kits. Or are they limited release and get sold out shortly after release?

RG Quanta looks good.

Wait that was announced? O.O

MG Freedom 2.0? I have to get that. Freedom 1.0 was my first MG.

EDIT: Oh wow that other Gunpla news.

Translation from /m/:
Special video Gundam Rising depicting the RX-78-02 Gundam now showing!

"Gundam Rising ~Gundam The Origin Target U.C. 0079~" is a 'short directional movie'(?) produced as a test piece by the staff of "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin". "Gundam Rising" is the first appearance of the Gundam RX-78-02 of the books and anime in the animated "Gundam the Origin" The MG's joint construction and moveable armor slide gimmick are depicted in this special video. "Gundam Rising" will be shown at events taking place at theaters showing "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin II Artesia's Sorrow" from 10/31 (Sat) to 11/13 (Fri).

"Gundam Rising ~Gundam The Origin Target U.C.0079" Summary:
In the midst of the One Year War, September U.C. 0079, in the under-construction space colony Noa in Side 7, the disadvanted Earth Federation has concealed a weapons development site. Here, the RX-78-02 Gundam will at last rise, its brave figure depicted in this special video. A test 'short directional movie'(?) by the staff of "Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin", this video signals the story after Char and Sayla. From here on, the "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin" Project may move on quickly towards the time of the One Year War.

I posted this reaction elsewhere. Posting it again here.

"Freedom 2.0. Yeah! I've had the old Freedom on my dresser for over a decade, and while I love the guy (and it was considered solid for its time), of all the mega-popular designs that already have MGs, I want to say the Freedom needs a 2.0 the most. The wings are extremely flimsy, the hands can't properly grip the beam rifle as they have no female slot, the blue trim of said beam rifle are two stickers, and the whole kit has that blocky design found in old MGs. It's not as bad as the Strike, but I'm looking forward to a sleeker MS. I do like the railguns on the MG Freedom though. They have a wide, lateral range of motion but judging by the RG this might be a defect rather than a feature. I hope those flexible railguns come back.

"Above all though, this means Bandai has no excuse to not release a MG Justice, freeing the Justice from its dubious distinction of being the only MS in the RG line to not have a MG and bringing us one step closer to having all of Athrun's suits in MG form (although the old 1/100 Saviour is actually really good!). MAKE IT HAPPEN, BANDAI!"

I've believed for a while that a Freedom RM was coming. After the Strike got it, I thought it was just a matter of time. Most of the other SEED MGs are pretty good, but the first two (Strike and Freedom) haven't stood the test of time well and both are just too popular for Bandai to not capitalize on them at some point.

As for the Full Saber... I don't know. Everyone was calling lots of P-Bandai stuff for the 00 Gundam, me included, and none of it came - except for the Trans-Am recolor. 00 Seven Sword seemed like a sure thing after we got an Astraea conversion kit and a red recolor for the Exia. We were all dead wrong. Hopefully the Qan[T] fans get it.

Yes there are kits exclusive to Hobby Japan like the Wing Zero Honoo Custom and the 1/100 Avalanche Exia I have.

Premium Bandai is online only, but GundamFront Odaiba should have some on sale. You might find luck at Mandarake or a local hobby store who is willing to be a middleman sale depending on where you are. Mandarake Sapporo had a Tallgeese III a few months ago.

On the other hand, Hobby Japan is magazine subscription exclusive. You get the kit for ordering a copy of that month's issue.

They're usually sold out fairly quickly and they rarely get reprints. P-Bandai does not only do Gunpla and they also sell figures and other Bandai licensed merchandise. It shouldn't be too difficult depending on what you look for.

If you're unable to find the P-Bandai you want, the only store in America that would have a couple kits on hand at a decent price would be Tatsu Hobby in California.

Freedom 2.0 sure is a surprise. Normally, I'd be upset about that getting a 2.0 MG when the original is still a good kit and stuff like the G-Self needs to get done, but the Freedom is a fantastic design so I can't really complain. Looks good so far. Interested to see what the new features are.

Now that we know what the Thunderbolt anime is, it makes way more sense. Would be super weird for Gundam to do a full adaptation of a manga that's still running. I wonder if this is successful will it get future installments as the magna goes on.

I thought so too, but weirder things have happened. There have been manga that have had even less material adapted into anime.

For a lot of things, the anime is just an advertisement to boost manga sales. That's why some things get adapted arguably a bit too quickly. Gundam is such a media juggernaut that it kind of doesn't need that at least on a full scale. In this case, it seems like this is a small thing to promote the manga as well as the new MG line.

I just wish they would adapt Crossbone. ; ;

I went to the Gundam Portal page on Facebook and uttered an opinion again. Definitely going to sleep before that balloons into an argument. Am I the only one that doesn't like the Zeta dub?

Well, if you're who I think you are there, when you started off with "Dubbed Gundam, what year is this?", people might have taken that the wrong way. It IS Facebook, after all.

But yeah I hate the Zeta dub too.
