Finally got around to finishing Gundam X. It was alright, but the main conflict was kind of boring and the Frost brothers were odd as "rival" antagonists. Not sure where to move next. Was thinking SEED, but I don't really want to watch multiple Hirai shows at once. Maybe AGE?

AGE isn't that bad. I used to hate it but I gave it a second chance and my opinion turned around.

Just don't expect much at first to be like UC style or even AU real robo show. It's why I didn't really enjoy G Gundam at first other than it being a lame World Tournament trope. I turned around on G Gundam but it's still not that great outside of Master Asia and Allenby.

The first 2 arc of AGE is pretty good but it really does fall flat and gets bad during the 3rd/last arc which is only like 12 episodes thankfully.

Could have been a lot better had they fleshed it out more and didn't rush it.

I'd recommend watching the OVA to supplement as well if you want to give it a chance.

Unlike most people here anyways AGE is decent, it's not amazing but it's not bottom worst. There are like 5 other anime worse in my opinion.

The only thing I'd give it is great mobile suit designs and art/animation, when it comes off as coherent that is.

Yeah between me and a friend, we got a whole spare RG kit. The parts we've salvaged from it include a leg, a shoulder, and an arm. I think the rest are still in the box. If you really need a replacement for the strip, I can ask him to check. Another thing you can try to do is to cut a strip replacement from the sheet itself. There might be enough!

If you're willing to use glue instead of trying to exactly match the latching mechanisms, it might be possible to salvage the strip from the excess sheet. I haven't looked at the RG Exia myself, but I definitely feel like the MG had enough extra that you could construct at least one new one.

I'm going to finish the rest of the parts and them see what I can do. It's just one from the legs. The way they're supposed to fit is, quite frankly, just weird.

I was just feeling pretty bad when it happened. I tried to fit it and the thing just went flying through my bedroom.

Just read through 30-something chapters of Thunderbolt. Other than the mech designs, I really like this manga. Art is fantastic, the characters are good, and the gritty tone is a nice change of pace from most Gundam. This is the kind of side-story I want more of. I'm excited to see how the anime handles things. If they don't manage to nail the soundtrack, the anime will be a travesty. I can just imagine the push and pull of Io's jazz and Daryll's pop(?) during their fights.

Also people tend to overlook it but but Frozen Teardop started out very strong in Japan with it selling super well as far as numbers that where posted for the volumes and they did well standing next to like of Thunderbolts and Unicorn for a few.

Then it never went anywhere, they did all the past shit that no one cared about created clones for literally everyone (Mariemaia is a clone of fuck sake) four different Heero's, two clones that live and fight together even.

......Bandai was even promoting it and knew it was doing well when they showed it at events but then it pulled a Destiny and imploded and just kept getting worse.

Pretty cool design. Unfortunately it's not very stable and I wish we could move the gauntlets around better. Oh, and the shield covers too much of the blaster so it looks like it will shoot it off.

How customizable are the model kits without any modification? For example can you just swap out the shin armor or the feet on that Dom R35 and snap it onto another model's shin, kind of like Lego or Bionicle? From what I've seen theres frames underneath, are those compatible with other frames? Or do parts not always match easily? Every time I look up custom gundam stuff I see people mentioning having to cut and glue stuff which leads me to believe that customizing gundams mostly involves nitty gritty stuff that im not really into. Nothing remotely close to Lego.

The all Gundam Line has introduced more easy customization but even still it's like you can by any high grade with any kind of assurance that a Wing Gundam piece would be compatible with a GM piece for example.

Correction: The MS Vingt piloted was actually a Scorpio successor.

-While Wufei attacked Vulkanus, Catherine/Quatre/Trowa went to the Janus condenser system to explode it in case they can't stop PPP. The plan was to cause an EMP to stop every electronic device on Mars, including ZERO and PPP.
-The trio then takes the remote control for the 3 Cerberus machines and manage to get Holo Zechs to give them the PPP password.
-Relena is sentenced to death and shot by Heero(it was actually a hologram, the real Relena was hiding)
-At the same time of the Relena trial, real Zechs attacks Babel with his sons.
-Final battle is 52 suit themed Mars Suits+Tallgeese Heaven+Prometheus+Sheherazade+Warlock VS Epyon+500 Virgo IV
-Heero appears to battle Holo Zechs and the Snow White's cloak is completely torn, it resembles Proto Zero.
-The Battle is decided when the golden dwarf is used stoppping all MDs and even Babel.
-Beta Heero now is called Adin Lowe Junior
-Zechs went to live with his family as a farmer in Mars
-Duo was elected Mars president, Alpha is his aide

Ill just stick to canon Heero/Duo fics started in 2004 as being canon, there is just no logical way that relena heero can even be believed to be true or even the canon intention of the original creators.

I hope nothing like this exists for Seed Destiny once I finish that.

Actually Sumizawa started Wing, did Endless Waltz and now this. He has always intended Heero/Relena so saying the crearors didnt intend it, isnt accurate.

How much of it is actually different? The OYW stuff seemed to play out normally for all I can tell. The rest is just dealing with Zeon remnants. I didn't notice anything that was drastically different from the chapters I've read other than the technology seems more advanced than it should.

The amount of Gundams for one. It makes Amuro's abilities and Gundam basically moot. The whole Moore Brotherhood, Buddhist Monks traveling around cremating bodies, etc.

True, though they referred to the Gundams during A Baoa Qu as "Gundam Heads" which made me think they were using GMs with the heads of the Gundam as a fear tactic. The suits being more Gundams is more likely.
