Started building my 1/144 Barbatos today. I don't think I realized how tiny this guy is.

holy... MG Destiny ver Metal Build shipping. Will get it when I leave home and come back to America.
what are these? metal builds or master grade? lots of boxes.
It is a third party that is doing an MG gunpla of the Metal Build Destiny since the Metal Build is stupid expensive now.
They are the only chinese company I would bother with since I had a decent time with their MG Akatsuki which came with both backpacks.
Comes with a stand, wings of light, waterslides, extra shield and effect parts. Plus it is the Metal Build version and you can paint it too.
example of differences of the metal build and the Bandai Extreme Blast.
I usually always support bandai 100% because support and economy but Dragon Momoko made a couple things I didn't want to pass up on.
Now the only things I want left from Gunpla are MG G-Self Perfect Pack and RE1/100 Kshatriya. If third party do an MG Kshatriya and it doesn't suck then I will be there day one.
ahhhhh these are the wing effect parts it comes with I am so excited.

you know that bandai announced a re-release of mb destiny... so i thought for a sec they released it. lol
it should drop the price down of mb destiny once it re-releases.
i got in on the heine early and another heine coming in june. but waiting for the destiny orders to be announced.

This is true. Them trying to humanize Heero more or less just came off as awkward. Especially with the romance plot. Only somebody as insane as Relena would even try to date the dude.

Trying to turn Killer Heero into Pacifist Heero never worked, and it made for a character that could never focus or grow.
The first 5 episodes Wing had something special no other Gundam has, and love or hate it, it is something special with them having a lead who takes pleasure in killing those who stand in his way.
Yet in the end we have someone who can see the future, has one of the most destructive Gundams ever and says he doesnt want to kill.
Ugh fuck you Sunrise.

Isn't he pretty much a time lord in Frozen Tear Drop as well? I honestlythink they should have given Wufei some of Heero's character development cause he wasn't a stone cold killer like Heero. Make that Sally and WuFei ship happen, would've made more sense to me. Instead the only logical Wufei ship is to ship him with Treize.

Well you have Two Heero's one called Alpha and Beta.
Snow White's Load Out puts Wing Zero's to shame, has Nano Machine connectors and on top of that an upgraded Zero that isn't wrong.
He was Frozen in time to keep him young, still super powered and gets married to the Relena in the end.....
While WuFei helps Treize younger brother rebuild Oz the way Treize would approve of.....so they doubled down on Relena/Heero and WuFei/Treize.

And still the only canon ship that makes sense is Treize and Wufei, with the crack ship that I approve of being Dorothy x Relena. Still pissed they broke up Duo and Hilde.

Real question is what is the guy writing Frozen Teardrop smoking? I've never read it but it sounds cracked out insane. Isn't there a Trowa, that's not Trowa, but looks like Trowa?
Yeah the wings of light effect parts are a first print bonus only so order it asap. First print comes with the wings but all kits come with a Launcher Pad Stand to display the kit and some extras.
This seller is pretty good and the shipping is included in the price, 52.99. This retailer ship from Guangzhou.

SamuelDecal had orders earlier and is shipping them but his was hella expensive, 30USD preorder/34USD after preorder date and shipping was like 30+ dollars because it is an oversized kit coming from Hong Kong. So glad that I got a discount from him.
You can still order from Samuel if you aren't able to get a batch from Gundam Central above.
It shipped yesterday so should be getting my Destiny when I come back to california next week
They also should still have some MG Akatsuki left. Go order while you can before these are gone forever. I reviewed Akatsuki and Hyaku Shiki 2.0 a few months ago and yami4ct was convinced to buy both too. Pretty good kit for what it is.

You have someone named Trowa-Phobos pilots Prometheus Gundam, in love with Quatre's clone that was created for spare body parts should he need them, also is female if i remember right.
Girl who opened up tje lite novel and suspected to be Sally and WuFei's daughter turned out to be a clone, no relation to WuFei.

Just to be clear this isn't the Bandai Metal Build, it's a third party Bastard Grade gunpla kit.
they probably won't do a TM Revolution Heine Custom since it's a kit and you can paint it yourself.
I'm only getting this because as much as I like Gundam I do not want to spend more than 10,000円 on a product... Unless it's a really good one. Like G Reco BDs.
I am not spending 17,000円+ on a Metal Build Destiny that I don't even get to enjoy building myself.
Im well aware of what it is.
If not no big, i already have MG Destiny and RG Destiny and nothing could get me to add another model in that hideous color scheme.

I'm repainting this. Probably in a color scheme closer to Justice. Or do Heine orange.
I don't like the Destiny colors either and I think Heine looks better with it. Heine also should have been Destiny's pilot instead of Shinn.
Someone should put these wings on Epyon to see what it looks like.

Damn, going from Wing to adapting Inuyasha for Sunrise must have really made him want to break free with the insanity again. Looks like he started on Frozen Teardrop right after Inuyasha ended for good? Lol. He's also writing the scripts for Gundam the Origin lololol.

We know Frozen Teardrop started off doing Unicorn numbers but it tanked after about year 2 when things got bat shit and they never did anything with the suits.
That said when Sumizawa says things like should it get animated they will redesign the suits it makes me nervous.

Why can't they just animate Glory for the Losers? Take that Frozen Teardrop money and animate Beltorchika's Children and Hathaways Flash.
Glory would be the exact same as BC, it's worthless to do it.
The story is done, most sales of models are done and there is zero reason to over write Wing or Char's Counter Attack.
Manga and Lite Novels are enough.
Flash and Frozen could be worth it though.

Frozen Doesnt make any sense.
That can be attributed to Sumizawa writting two seperate stories, one taking place a decade before Wing and one 30 years after Wing and trying desperatly to mash them together when neither was fleshed out or completed.
Most of the mars stuff could have worked and it had good battles, however they recycled all the suits, over powered them and used clones of the leads to do it.
Unicorn's lite novels had major issues to, but it got a great editor to fix them.
Im just not confident there is an editor skilled enough to save Frozen.

To make it good. Even Unicorn wasn't a one to one adaptation from what I've read since Unicorn pretty much ended with Banagher achieving a 100% Sync ratio with the Unicorn.
True, but Unicorn still had a strong base.
Youd have to cut 50 percent of Frozen, all new character designs and all Gundam designs but 1.
Imagine if that gets made by the Unicorn studio after they finish Thunderbolt next year?
Imagine if they did Crossbone Gundam instead.

it's more a figure for collectors than gunpla, (models and collecting = different audience) for a figure, Metal Builds are awesome for what it is and has a high demand so you can always resell down the line and get what you paid for or more. engineering, articulation and detailing are top notch.
gunpla is nice but i gotta say my rg's are fragile and fall apart easily. not too great at handling and fun to pose as MB's

Lol its a train wreck.
I just wish they had focused on one time line, and that Katoki didnt tell them to fuck off because that makes everything worse.
That said he does love suit reuse so its not exactly shocking.
