Only Gundam Wing that really take that trope directly. Rest is just ace custom or "mass production" type. Which can trace as far back as 0078 (Gundam -> GM, Char red custom)
I like the design but it seem the figure doesn't look to be very poseable
Well, there's also the King of Hearts from G Gundam which is supposed to be stronger than the Master Gundam though it wasn't directly shown in the original series.

That's probably the only rational acting ship from Gundam Wing. Wufei may be labeled as sexist but he was one of the more level headed people on that show. He was probably the only person to not try to kill himself out of the gundam pilots.
Yeah, Wing's ship's are really... erm, troubling. >_> I rather enjoyed some of the latter-series/Endless Waltz (dare I say I love Endless Waltz here? 'Cause I kinda loved Endless Waltz) Heero/Relena scenes, but that doesn't change the fact that that girl is effin' crazy for at least 80% of the story. And don't get me started on Trowa's situation.

I'm pretty sure the only sane women on that show are Noin, Hilde, Catherine and Sally. Ok so I guess most are sane with Lady Une (whom got a lot better), Releena and Dorothy are the only outliers. Noin may be a bit too attached to Zechs, but she's loved the guy since forever, besides that voice who wouldn't fall for Zechs. Now that I think about it Releena and Dorothy are so god damn crazy they're practically made for each other. Sumizawa really should've just went full on Les Yay with those two. They have more passion for each other than dry ass Heero x Releena. I'm pretty sure Releena and Dorothy just used their conversations as a verbal fucking exhibition.

I still think Wing Zero is broken as fuck so Wing Zero. I don't think the Freedom just has the kind of colony busting firepower that Wing Zero does, besides Heero shoots to kill.

Would it though? Strike Freedom just has more beam spam, while the Wing Zero has a stronger beam canon. Zero is still plenty maneuverable and it can take a beating. Besides it has that prototype default upgrade.
Meh, most named characters can avoid it. Freedom is allowed to chip though so it would win.

I liked ZZ more than I did the first time I watched it as well. I think Zeta was tonally more consistent, but it can be a bit too odd for some people. ZZ once it gets its shit together is very good though. ZZ might actually be the most 80's Gundam I can think of though.I'm not a huge fan of the overly complicated suits that show up in most AUs.
I just started a rewatch of ZZ. I think ZZ gets a really bad rap. I think aside from the early weirdness, tonally I might be enjoying it more than my recent rewatch of Z.
I love ZZ Gundam. At the start the plot is rubbish but the suit designs are awesome. Shame it is so under represented in games and kits, especially the more eccentric enemy suits toward the end that I love so much.
My dream game is first person like the DC 0079 Side Stories game but in the Z-ZZ era with space battles and transforming all over the place. It will never happen T_T.

Be warned Judau is surrounded by some of the most irritating people. Even Bright couldn't give enough of a shit to Bright Slap them.

Lino is cool with me, but Beecha and Mondo? Fuck those guys. Didn't they almost get the Argama captured later on in the show?
More like for the first half or more of the show. Beecha and Mondo try to steal the Gundam like 3 times after Judeau has decided to help the Argama. They betray the argama to the enemy a couple of times. They serve no purpose and contribute nothing to the ship. They barely even get redeemed by the end and they give Bright and the others no reason to trust them, but
Bright still hands over the Argama to Beecha like it is a good idea. Maybe he just figured he needed to get the hell out of there before they got him killed.
If you go on pure design?
Zero Armor, Zero System, Twin Buster Rifle and Transformation give it a heavy advantage.
Heero is a genetically enhanced super soldier trained from a very young age and a hreat hacker.
So its all about Kira's boost in SEED and how many SSJ lvls he gets, normally I award it to Zero.
Also can anything be S. Freedom? OOq and Snow White easily.

Roux and Elle have their moments, with Elle only really pissing me off when she tried to steal Fa's mirror but Beecha and Mondo should've died a Victory Gundam death. Thank you. I'm very unfamiliar to 00q because that movie whose name I don't want to remember barely showed the damn thing. Snow White must be broken as all fuck.
Snow White makes Zero compareable to Wing Gundam or RX-78-2 and OOq's speed, power and ability to teleport makes it so the only thing taking these two down is a fully equipped Turn A with an ACE pilot or G Self Perfect.
I'd also put Unicorn over Strike Freedom, but I know many disagree.

Lol OOq is some busted ass stuff.
So is Strike Freedom to be sure, but it still operates on a "normal" Gundam lvl lol, nothing crazy like the Nanomachines in Snow White, Teleporting in OO or heaven forbid the Moonlight BF in Turn A.
Don't forget that Turn A also has nonomachines, though I have no idea how strong SW's are.

We don't get an exact measurement of Snow White's so I would still give it to Turn A personally.
That said White's now run through it, are the connectors that bind the Wings and as well are apart of the Seven Dwarf Weapon system.
It also was unaffected by Nanomachines based attacks so theoretically it maybe the first Gundam that can flat out beat or just ignore the Moonlight Butterfly. We never really see it get hurt though so I can't say if it can self heal like Turn A or Devil Gundam, but then it shouldn't be able to. In one scene they have Black Wing Zero fire a fully charged TBR charge at it, it melted it's cloak and did nothing to Snow White.
So that means this suit can take a colony buster round and walk out with zero damage, having it self heal would be bullshit.
