For me the jump started in Lincoln.
Oh, the game has been superb since then, but it's not quite Resident Evil 4 quality. Then again, it is my favourite game of all time, so that's to be expected.

I assume your save file.Where are you guys seeing your game completion percentage? I can only see how many hours I've played.

Yes really can anyone answer this?
Yeah, it's not RE4 quality across the board, but it does have some advantages. I'd argue the actual presentation, story telling, and audio are all much better than anything in RE4, for instance. It also has a more modern control system. The game is not as good as RE4. But I still feel comparisons are warranted in regard to getting that strategic vibe from the combat that I haven't seen since RE4.
Anyone have a hard mode save that's Spring or later that they'd be willing to upload? The autosave bug ate my save and I really don't feel like starting over when I get home from work today. I don't care about trophies.
I know you can't use the listen functionality. It wouldnt surprise me if it had less supplies and damage is even tougher.
How about not spawning me into game that have already started. my 'first day' I get put on a team with only 3 people that have obviously been getting it's ass kicked. Another guy leaves, so I leave too and that's a day and my whole clan is already beyond repair.
I don't know if it's supposed to be part of the 'feel' of the game put putting a rifle crosshair on a guy and shooting needs to damage them more often.

Don't quit matches and your clan would have been fine. You also get a good bonus for joining a match late.
can someone tell me if they mix up / add more variations into the enemy types? kinda like how the re games did? without spoiling just like a yes there are shit tons more or no its just dudes, infected anc clickers the whole game
*also, arrows are retrievable?! Holy sh*t.
Yeah, I was like "Cool, a bow, infinite headshots then".
*Shot the first arrow*
"Let's retrieve it" *it's broken* "Well, shit now."
Finished the game on hard mode. The second half was unbelievably good, well worth the hype I think.
The multiplayer seems really terrible after about 30 minutes. None of the mechanics seem to work. they need to get rid of the wounded state. I got caught in a firefight outnumbered, and everytime I got someone the whole team would just revive them making it pointless. The punching is messed up too. I shot someone, had full health, ambushed them, punched first, and they still won with both of us slamming square. We had a member of our team stealth killed right in front of us, had 3 people run up and punch him and he still just runs away full speed without getting stunned or slowed down.
It feels like there are 1-2 ways to exploit the combat and that's already all anyone wants to do.
It reminds me so much of StrangleHold MP.
Oh come on, there's not an actual 2 hours of that.did resi4 have like 2 hours of pressing forward and pressing triangle to lower ladders though

I think I am done with this game. The combat mechanics are just to clunky for me. (and this may be due to the fact I have not tried to play a shooter with a gamepad since I slogged my way through Uncharted 3) The game also seems to have taken a much more combat heavy approach at this point as well which does not bode well for my sanity.

Trying to play the game stealthy has made me want to pull my hair out. Getting spotted seems very arbitrary and I swear I have had guys spawn in behind me that were not there before. Sometimes I am able to walk up to someone and choke them out no problems, but other times they spot me as I repeat the exact steps I took before.
The game looks great, but I can't help but feel I have seen this story a hundred other times before. Almost all of the major story beats so far have been very predictable. Really the only fantastic thing I have seen from the plot and character side is Ellie's random interactions with things or her trying stuff (like the whistling).
Gonna sit down one more time with it though, but if that ends with me wanting to throw a controller I am just going to take it back and find something I enjoy playing instead.
did resi4 have like 2 hours of pressing forward and pressing triangle to lower ladders though, which makes the game almost unreplayable? did it have like, kind of broken combat (broken in a way that favors the player)? did it have checkpoints every 30 seconds?
I'm not staying in a game that's already started, outnumbered 2-1 by the other team.

Awesome! I'd appreciate that.I have a normal mode save that i can upload with the game finished. You can select chapter from the menu and play any chapter on any diffuculty.
Cutscene - Joel kicks in wooden door
Gameplay - have to use a precious shiv to break certain wooden doors*.
AGHHHH, annoying.
*maybe they are reinforced.
Ps. is there any silent way of taking out Clickers without a shiv?

Fire and bullets to the face. Molotovs helped a ton for me.

edit: Also where is my mercenaries mode or other optional modes. No joke actually, I think an optional mode where you have limited resources and have to do an objective (kill all enemies, kill all enemies without being detected, get to the exit, etc) on a map (with no checkpoints, with scoring/time ranking) could be cool.
Molotov + rifle did the trick for me fairly quickly. Shoot it in the back, it's got armoured plates on the front I thinkHow do you kill abloater? seems my weapons don't do any damage

I would LOVE to see how those complaining about the stealth play, I so far have not had any issues with the stealth, only been spotted when I know I was at fault.
