You served yourself. What difference does it make whether or not you posted that picture to compare graphics or a characters size? Lol ...the point is- that was still a supposed image of The Last of Us 2 that looks better than anything they've shown from LoU1 Remake! The irony of it all is that the e3 demo from which it comes from wad downgraded for the retail, but here we are almost 3 years later and ND can't quite match that despite us being on an entirely new generation, on a 10 tf rdna2 device with a cpu, gpu, and io system SHOULD BE vastly superior to a ps4 pro! So what does this tell us? That they've been over selling a disappointing ps5 exclusive or Naughty Dog has lost their chops or they've lost their drive to deliver what should be head and shoulders better than LoU2 and at least as good as that e3 demo! You don't get it.
When Digital Foundry covers video games and they say, "This game uses 4K textures" or "High quality textures" does that mean the game will NOT have any low resolution textures?
No.
The Last of Us Remake/Remaster clearly uses higher quality textures while The Last of Us Part II textures are lower quality.
You're the one telling people you're seeing NO improvements to textures.
I used the screenshot from the 2018 demo because I was specifically talking about the character's size. Carefully read the text below the image.
Show me where I was using that screenshot to compare graphics.
BTW the e3 demo as well as the demo way back for the unveiling of Lsst of Us 1 we're both downgraded heavily. Also, Uncharted 4 had a misleading reveal cutscene they used of Nathan in the jungle as well as a 60 fps gameplay demo- neither of those were equaled in the official release. So it begs the question of whether ND can even be trusted or if they have a habit of misleading fans.
You've been corrected over and over and you're still clinging to your position but you think I don't get it? Sorry but I have functioning eyes and have been following the trends of output from Sony and ND. I'll happily eat my words if somehow the final release is miraculously better than the 5 or so minutes of gameplay we've already seen but why would it? That's not gonna happen.
