Yes, it's true, Gamereactor has been playing The Last of Us: Part II since last week, all so that we can bring you a detailed review as soon as possible, but before that, we will share with you one last preview, at 2 pm BST on June 1.

Be careful and expect people trying to spoil the game in the comments of these previews, or for some people in the press accidentally slipping up.

To say that The Last of Us Part 2 is immersive is an understatement; I went in focused on linear progression and on-screen prompts about hints but that quickly melted away as I sat gripping a DualShock with my pulse racing, happy to have scraped by in a fight with the infected. In mere minutes, I stopped thinking about Ellie as a character in a game and started thinking about me — her — and my survival. That The Last of Us Part 2 can create such complex emotions in the short segment I can discuss says a lot. But it's how that plays out over the wider context of the full story that will really leave its mark. Personally, I don't think the opinion of a random 100 or so people on the internet has ever played a significant role in my purchasing decisions. If I'm not sure about a game, all I need is extended gameplay with no commentary, objective facts, and the history of the people making it.

I think high sales and a metacritic score is more or less guaranteed. Besides, the "wokeness" factor would generally only help the game achieve a higher score, considering that games' media has a very high concentration of the "woke" crowd.

The game is going to receive a good score because its a good game, not because it's woke.

If your belief is right, then Uncharted: Lost Legacy would've scored higher than Uncharted 4.

I think it's generally true considering who a lot of the reviewers are, whether it's tiring or not.

I think 4 million in a few days and 9-12 million this year depending on how fast the price drops and what the PS5 launch games are. Metacritic at least 90+, no matter what Druckmann did.
