I played it relatively recently, doesn't the first aim upgrade give a huge improvement to the shake? I never had an issue with it since it was mitigated so easily

The Last of Us reviewer also reviewed Dark Souls 2 and gave it a 9/10. I had a significantly more challenging time with DS2 than TLoU, but that could just be me, I guess.

First the reviewer complains that the infected are faster and less predictable than human enemies. Kind of the point no?

Then he complains how the game purposefully gives Joel shaky aiming and the upgrades haven't helped by the end of the game. Look at Alpha Protocol for a game that does this wrong, you can shoot someone perfectly but "miss" because you're characters aim stat isn't good. If you miss in LOU its your own fault. These infected fights get the tension they deserve. And the upgrades do help dramatically
