This really isn't the type of game I need 60FPS in, this all trend trying to push 60FPS on every genre is just silly if we're talking about a fighting game or even a fast pace shooter then sure 60FPS should definitely be the acceptable standard but a slow paced action game? what's the point?; I would rather have them spending the extra resources on better textures/AA, I mean for this type of game 60FPS will be more about graphical fidelity than actual improvement in the gameplay anyway.
Also does anyone else find it odd that a first party studio will just come out and say their targeting a certain graphical effect? it's like saying we want to but the console just isn't powerful enough.

You already played and enjoyed the game at full price, and you can enjoy the game as many times as you like with the version you bought, at no extra cost. No one is forcing you to buy the remastered version.

Because achieving 60fps is not trivial and programming is not free.
They have a certain budget and timeline to meet for this project, and you can't always fit all your wishlist within that scope.

I will pick it up again sometime, if they offer like $20 off day one upgrade for PS3 digital I would day one it even if they made me give up the rights to the ps3 version like FF14, or maybe if they run $10 back promotion. Really depends on how good the new mode is. It already plays great with the DS4 on PS3 with full DS4 support should be even better.

How often does a pub release a game a year later with all the DLC and with substantial improvements? Because I feel duped. I bought a PS3 for the game then not only do they rerelease the game but its full price. Without a discount for anyone who already bought the game and the season pass.

$60 = Full game + $20 worth of DLC + next gen improvements in graphics, presentation at no additional cost compared to original.
Seems fair to me, regardless of original purchase.

I don't think we should let publishers rerelease games within a year of release for 60 bucks. The graphical upgrade doesn't make it suddenly ok.

Believe me when it comes to MP trophies i despise them but in the case with TLOU you just save the easy challenges for when the 100% population risks strikes. You could be on the losing team for every match and still make it past the 12 weeks as long as you don't fail on the 100% risks.
Guess it helps i fucking love this game.

Considering this is one of the greatest games ever made, Ill let it slide.
Only other game pay full price for a next gen remaster so soon is Bioshock Infinite + DLC

They did mention they want to challenge themselves with this project. Adding new enemies, even if they're just new skins, would certainly be a challenge given the timeframe.
Honestly, if I could ask for one thing, it would be to
include the sweet three way combat from left behind in the normal game.

I don't get the price argument. You're getting a very recent release with a ton of content for the price of a regular game. If you already have it for PS3 or you don't feel the price is fair, then vote with your wallet or wait for it to go cheaper. Nothing about this new version takes away from the one you already own, or devalues it in any way.
It's kinda understandable why it's not in the game -
tactically the correct way to go about it is to wait until battling sides kill each other then finish off those who remain standing. Not exactly splendid gaming mechanic.
I own a PS3 and for some strange reason have never played TLoU. When it came out I was crazy busy and/or broke as f*ck. Anywho I was planning on getting a PS4 late summer/early fall so this is pretty much perfect for me.
Not always, but then again they're mostly just bundle deals with DLC. There's no additional effort put in - just a new package. Paying a $20 premium seems like a decent way to show that we appreciate and will reward this extra effort.

I'd think the flow of combat could be tuned appropriately to avoid this.
I know this wasn't exactly what I did in the DLC - I struck during the battles to take out the dangerous guys while they were preoccupied.

It would be great if ND can implement a scanning system to see if a user has already played TLoU on the PS3 and has completed it, then all the difficulties are unlocked from the start on the PS4.

I'm not quite sure what you are suggesting? Those pallets will be empty in a couple of days so why do Sony need to advertise this game?
So much hyperbole going on with this release. Its price has been compared to anal rape. If people dare spend an amount they approve for something they enjoy they are now "horrible people."
