It would be a shame not to have it posted in the OT so here goes:

Instructions for participants:
I am giving away a Steam key. To enter this giveaway, send a PM to ModBot with any subject line. In the body, copy and paste the entire line from the message below containing the game you want to enter for. Confused? Watch this GIF tutorial or ask for help.

ModBot Basics:
- This giveaway has a manual blocklist. The giver has identified members who abuse giveaways and restricted them from participating.
- I really appreciate thank you messages, but please send them to me (Shantom, not ModBot!) via PM instead of in thread.
- Do not trade keys you win off-site to enrich yourself. Don't try to claim games you have no interest in collecting or playing. Don't claim games to give them to friends off-site.
- If the key is already taken you will not receive a reply. Replies may take a minute or two.

Note: This game hasn't been released yet. I will gift the winner the game on Steam once it's available to purchase.

Rules for this Giveaway:
- This giveaway is a raffle. The winners will be selected by random draw 24 hours after the draw was created. Any games not claimed after that point will be given away first come first serve.

Posted this on my personal account but will post here as well.

I've been combing through the main story text again as much as I can to try and sweep any careless errors that made it through when adjusting lines, and I think I've caught them all (well, currently going through chapter 4 again now). I'm fairly confident in catching these errors and don't want anyone to worry. Still, I'm not perfect, so if anyone happens to see anything text-wise and would like to report it, I'd be very grateful if you let me know via here or my twitter and I'll make the appropriate changes in the script so we can patch it in. Screenshots or just the line itself will work wonderfully.

Programming things are best left to Sara, though I can relay that information as well. I work directly with the script files, so like I said on my twitter, there may be a time when adjusting a line that I've accidentally deleted a part of the color code or missed an end quote that closes up a text box. Hopefully not, but I don't want to have a big head and say I've absolutely found everything only for something to have slipped passed me.

I hope this doesn't come across as asking people to do work... I just mean to keep things as open as possible, and let everyone know that I'll continue keeping an eye out on various forums and such for feedback.

I'm sure everyone here will happy to contribute to further polish this gem (if there is indeed anything left to fix).

I doubt anyone will take it that way, I'll keep my eyes open for any problems I may find.

We'll dock your pay for every error reported. Exponentially, by a factor of ten. $1 for the first error... $10 for the second... $100 for the third... and so on.

It's the only way.

I really hope no one thinks I'm serious here! Heheh...

Getting my copy, for sure. Maybe a few so i can give it to a few folks. I'll save it for a future replay. Too many other Trails games (in Japanese) soon. >_>

Never bought this on psp despite the praise. Will definitely buy it on Steam this week. Also appreciate the communication from the XSEED team and their passion for bringing some classics outside of Japan. Starting to gather quite the collection of ports and games that XSEED had a hand in.

Just one question, I've been through both threads and I've seen many people mention being able to transfer your FC savegames to SC. Is that official for the pc versions?

It happens for the PSP version as well, but yeah, it's for the PC version. I think even NPC dialogue will change if you transfer your save data (that'll certainly be a blast to QA) from FC.

Awesome giveaway but like I said in the steam thread, after saying countless times that I'd be buying this to support Xseed and urging others to do the same I'd feel bad if I won it lol so I'll pass.
Hopefully someone who is on the fence will win and be converted to the franchise :)

Hyped for this. I already played the PSP version, so I might wait to buy both chapters when SC is released and the monster book is implemented. Or I might just cave in just for the chance that the series does well on PC (which I hope it will).

I have become inordinately excited for this game, thanks to this thread.

HYPE TRAIN GO

(I have an alpha deadline in three weeks, this is not helping)

I apologize if this has already been asked in this thread but, I've got the PSP version and didn't get too awfully far. Do you guys think it'd be better to pick up the PC version and go from there?

I am hyped mostly because it means that SC is that much closer. I have talked a few friends into buying it, and am buying some copies for friends that have different monetary priorities than I do. I also plan on streaming my play on Tuesday and Wednesday for some of my other friends that are on the fence. I think one of my friends is going to be playing it for the first time at the same time I am, so it should be a good day.

No difference at all (Except maybe "better" interface. It was made to be used with a mouse in mind).

I'd say keep on the PSP, it's no fun having to start all over again if you don't feel like it

Where do you want to play SC when it's released? SC has a save import feature, but it won't work cross-platform.

I do wonder if someone will try to cook something up, if not a proper save porter then at least a save CREATOR, even if just for PC. Kinda like we saw for ME and DA.
