The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Final Trailer is Here

The fucking trolls that can't handle someone with an opinion that's not OMFG THIS THING IS AMAZING... it's fucking astoudning. All go for the lowest hanging not even logic ad hominem bullshit too.

Nothing to feel bad about, I feel bad for you, for thinking an OPINION about ONE FUCKING GAME makes me somehow ill.
what if i said you sound like a troll? most people in here are hyped and excited and then you come along with your shitty views (as valid as they are)

dude you can have your own opinion lmao. if you don't like Zelda then that's cool but you're being ridiculous and unreasonable. the Switch is not going to have amazing shiny graphics or good performance.

Trailer was straight overwhelming with the amount of new stuff they showed. Damn. I'm torn between watching it again to dissect, or just waiting to experience it, in game.

Also did anyone else think they kept hinting at Zelda being playable during that trailer? She was shown with the Master Sword a few times.
What do you guys think? If she was playable, I don't think they'd reveal it in any trailers.
I made it 40% through and just stopped it. No need for me to see any more. The discovery will be worth it.

Dude... you're the only one acting like a troll here.

Just chill. It's okay for other people to like something you don't. No need to get so worked up about it.

I have never played Zelda, but I did play immortals which apparently is somewhat like Zelda. Didn't really care too much about the game, so I am not sure what makes Zelda special at least based on that trailer

immortals is a bad game from a c-tier dev that's really nothing like zelda lol. wtf is this post.

Probably not. Probably just cutscene fodder for imbuing the Mastrer Sword or a weapon with power stemming from Hylia bloodline. But maybe we will get twin protagonists!!

It will outsell nearly every game this year sans, maybe, ones like Spider-Man 2 which will no doubt give you those pretty empty calories that you desire.
Imagine saying this to someone who constantly seethes about PlayStation first-party games.

Looks like more of the same from BotW, not a bad thing at all, have the CE and Pro Controller pre ordered, can't wait

I mean....Looks good, but I don't see where this is ZOMG different.

(Im admittedly not the biggest BotW fan).

Either way. Day 1. Lets give it a go.

I know what he needs……

I think the point was that Spiderman is a generic mindless game with shiny graphics. TOTK might not look great but the gameplay definitely looks to be there. Some people all they care about are pretty things to look at.

Uhhhh dude, Immortals is "somewhat like Zelda" if you isolate the few instances in Zelda where you have to move boxes or stuff around and multiply it a thousand timed and spread it throughout a sprawling world filled with junk. Because that's basically Immortals. I enjoyed that game, but the similarities to Zelda are very few and very sparse in what is a very, very Ubisoft game at its core.

What they showed in today's trailer is a couple of generations beyond Immortals in every respect. I'm not exaggerating things. It just is.

Holy fuck that outdoor parts was disgusting, straight out of a PS3 game maybe worse, muddy and basic AF texttures, also the view limit is terrible with all that shitty fog...they should not have put that into the otherwise fine trailer.

The Link charging a big car thing with a narrow penis shaky thing looked fucking dumb.

AI Helpers is the opposite of good, maybe they've padded the baddies so you "need" the help.

EDIT: People need fucking glasses if they think those textures and that super thick fog is OK in a game in 2023.
It's a Nintendo game. don't know what you're expecting here.i hope you're not expecting top of the line visuals in a open world handheld game

Wow, what a fucking excuse, it still needs to look competitive with the COMPETITION, or at least ATTEMPT IT, if they chose a a different art style that the machine could DO, it could look GOOD and be fun too.

What is the tdp of the switch? Like 15 Watts or something...1 20th of the consoles and I put money this game will be better than any console exclusive so far this gen.

you all are so easily impressed.. It looks like DLC for the original game to me.
No no, YOU'RE WRONG, now you need to get dog pile trolled because people feel BAD for you because your opinion isn't OMFG I NEED THIS TO HAVE MY BABIES.

But you're right, graphically somehow this looks worse than BoTW.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Those really looked like "proper" dungeons, but I'm sure with some cinematic editing you could say the same of the divine beasts.
I feel like if proper dungeons were in TotK they would have announced it somehow. Everyone knows that was a huge complaint about BotW, to add them and not mention it at all would be really weird.

Don't get your hopes up for real dungeons like the other games have. I fully expect divine beast style areas again.

J jaysius hated this thing since 2 trailers ago, you can watch his post history, but now sure, he's ''against the tide'' lol.

There was a reason some sensible people were dissapointed with the media for this game, as it indeed looked like a DLC sort of affair and a few new gimmicks, but come on.

What they showed here is hype material and puts to rest all my ''fears'' regarding the game.

You coming up with the PS3 narrative is just plain obtuse. Game was never going to be a technical showpiece from all the media so far and to be quite honest, it looks ok for what it's trying to achieve.
But you do you, when games innovate in gameplay, you tout the 'but it looks crap' card and when games look mighty fine, you go ahead and judge them on a different criteria.
It must be sad...

Game looks like a fun adventure. I will never understand this narrow focus on a system's hardware over having a fantastic RPG to play.

Long live SHOGUNDORF.

But I imagine the cacophony of vile shouting is really a simple thing in that some people don't like The Legend of Zelda.

Lots of people seem to be assblasted that possibly the greatest open world game ever made will be running on GameCube hardware.

This game looks fucking incredible and I'm glad I'm not jaded enough to think the art style isn't gorgeous. This game looks several tiers above all of the "bleeding edge" games I've gotten bored with after an hour on Series X Game Pass.

This trailer makes BotW look like it was just a proof of concept.

looks amazing to me. Don't get the complaints about the visuals - it was never going to be cutting edge but the style makes it work. Still artistically looks great.

I does give an insight how some people only look at the graphics and ignore new gameplay mechanics. :messenger_winking_tongue:
No shit. Like I played BotW 3 times over 200 hours because the graphics were so mind blowing.

This looks like it builds on every mechanic that made BotW fun and has a way more fleshed out world to explore. That's exactly what a sequel to BotW should be. Once again, I've got 5 nephews all hyped AF for this. Only here do I see people bitching and moaning, and like specific people in particular.

Wow, please continue to tell us how much more enlightened you are then the rest of us graphics obsessed sheeple

Oh wow it looks like a 6 year old game that already looked like a 6 year old game when it launched 6 years ago

I'm sure it will be a great game and all, but I sorely wish they had some Pro/2 hardware to target it to. It's a sad state where emulation on day one will probably look and play better than any official hardware Nintendo will sell.
Fans will love this but they are getting shafted with the weak ass hardware. I'm sure they'll all gladly rebuy the remaster on the switch 2 in two years.

Preorder validated then I guess, looks awesome. Gonna be difficult going back to switch after so long though, May just "cough" Yuzu "cough" this

this trailer was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than that last boring thing they put out.

but the pessimist in me remembers how epic BOTW final trailer was for it to be mostly Flashback sequences you didn't play and 120 copy/paste shrines and 4 copy/bosses....

so yeaaaaah still keeping expectations in check for this one. Is it gonna be lifeless like the first game and this is all "cutscenes".
