" available on all platforms on June 11th"

Ok the battle for kvatch glitch happened to me twice already so thats good that they're fixing it

But. From the urgency of the title I was expecting the memory leak bug fix to be part of the first update. Thats what killed the game for me.

I'm quite confused here. I got a PS5 Pro and read about stuttering open world areas.

Does the PC version suffer from this too? I just got a new PC and could get into Oblivion Remastered. But I'm a bit confused with these patch notes. I see nothing about fixing stuttering.

Which version should I get?

Yeah all versions have the problem because it's an issue with the engine the remaster was built on top of.

There's a new version of the engine coming out that supposedly fixes the issue, so we're speculating that that's the reason why the performance fixes will be coming with patch #2 and not this one.

How the heck do you shadowdrop a busted game? April was crowded also... They could've just sat on it and polished it and shadowdropped it at their showcase...

Any word on whether this fixes the game breaking bug where enemies level up whenever you level up ruining any sense of progression?

It was consuming me (like meaty RPGs tend to do) and I just wanted to finish it after 180 hours.

Maybe I will pick it up again in the far future when they finally add Survival mode. I think Survival mode would fit this game far, far better than it ever did Skyrim.

Is this as bad as the GTA remasters?
edit: actually I've put like 20 hours in GTA 5 remaster and it seems fine? so maybe I'm not the best person to answer but for me, no memory leak issues despite a ton of saves, although only 70 or so hours.

I had less bugs then the original release actually, although lots of the original bugs were still present but some of them are pretty insignificant

this stupid alchemy bug is the only real issue I've run into and that was only recently. according to google it might be related to crafting with stolen ingredients? so yeah game still has jank but the original had a ton of jank as well

Ok so stuttering will be fixed later, in patch 2? I guess I'll wait till it's fully fixed then, thanks!

It's pathetic that the performance patch comes later. The stuttering, hitching and general performance is an absolute disaster. I hate too how when you go from one place to another and there is a loading screen, the world loads and your character falls from the air. It's ridiculous

I am really disappointed with this remaster even tho I enjoyed parts of it, its very, very broken

The hilarious jerking-up-on-one-leg-then-sitting-down horse mounting animation glitch will finally be fixed in the v1.1 beta patch!!! Yay! I saw this bug on both PC and PS5 Pro so it amazes me that this wasn't addressed before release.

I had stopped playing the game to wait for a patch and while the beta patch at least will fix one of the annoyances - the aforementioned horse mounting bug - I am still really waiting for the promised performance patch before I get back into the game. The open world traversal stutter is a real annoyance and on PS5 Pro the game runs very poorly in my experience so I stopped playing that ages ago.

On PC though, some mods have helped the game be at least playable but at 65 hours I decided to stop playing and wait for patches which have been a long time coming (almost six weeks!). I actually avoided most of the traversal stuttering by just fast-travelling everywhere and limiting the amount of actual exploration I was doing, which definitely isn't the way I wanted to play the game.

In my opinion, the game should never have been released when it was. They should have announced it on 22nd April 2025 with a release date of July/August 2025 so they could continue working on bug fixes and improving the currently poor performance on both PC and consoles. No-one knew for sure this was coming so it would not have been a big deal to have had to wait an extra 2-3 months for the final game.

haha its a good thing to be patient. There should be discount by then when the game is actually fixed.

Nothing about performance updates xbox got out of blue like days after launch. This is fucking weird

I had to stop playing due to the memory leak. That is all I really care about, performance would be nice but my game runs pretty smooth.
