They should stream the Judas Priest gig, too. That was the highlight for me. The band and Rob Halford were awesome!
They didn't get rights for Judas Priest and Motorhead, so they will stream only mentioned bands.

Yep...at least there's some footage of motörhead to be found on youtube. For JP it's only crappy mobile phone videos. ;( Well, I shouldn't complain..I was there and saw them all. :D

Confirmed Asshole
The word "Aufzeichnung" in the schedule under the video means "recording".

Thanks anyway, will watch.

honestly seeing priest without kk is sort of a drag. and watching halford labor through songs roaming the stage like frankenstein is pretty disheartening. that being said i'm going to see them at the horseshoe casino when they come around.

Yeah, I'm really sad that KK quit already. I'm assuming that now there's even less need for Halford (the band).

If you have ever been a Mastodon fan, you absolutely must hear this preview of Curl of the Burl, a single due to be released on the 15th for an album (The Hunter) due next month.

I hope you're sitting down.

I like, although it's too short to form an educated opinion. I hope it's representative of the album as a whole because I want to be blown away like I was when I heard Blood Mountain and not disappointed like I was with Crack the Skye.

Fucking Manowar just announced a show in New Jersey on November 19th.

Yep, I'm buying my ticket tomorrow! I can't frigging believe I'm going to be seeing Manowar twice in the same year. It's a damned miracle.

And here I was thinking that short clip would have finally won you over and completely changed your opinion!

Hey, if the new Opeth song were a teaser that short, I'd still have more interest in that.

That's what I said after their last release........

Well, Crack The Skye it's pretty fucking awesome, but it's true that you have to listen to it many times to realize all the work they put on it. I never get tired of it.

Mustaine: "I've talked to Lars and James about me and David [Ellefson, MEGADETH bassist] doing a supergroup record with Lars and James. Well, James never said 'no,' but it's still kind of out there in the air. I'm gonna keep hammering on him. It's on my bucket list."

Kinda cool actually.

But this...

On why guitarist Marty Friedman won't return to MEGADETH:

"Well, first off, he's not welcome. I mean, it's not that he's not welcome, it's just that there's no position for him. And Marty's not as good as Chris [Broderick, current MEGADETH guitarist] is, second off. And Marty wanted to be a pop guitar player.

Fail Dave, so much fail.

Tornado Of Souls.

I'm just saying.

Dave's just trying to put his new lineup over, he doesn't really believe that. and what's the point of putting together a super group if you are still going to have lars behind the drum kit? lol he should just get lombardo, ventor, or hoglan, if he's going to talk fantasy trash bands.

Mustaine and Lars would both be out of place in that super group. Lombardo is the obvious choice for drummer, but I'd prefer Andreas Kisser (or Dimebag Darrel if they could manage to ressurect him) on guitar opposite James.

Also, We'd need another vocalist besides James, because his Supergroup-quality vocals were lost in 1991. I'd be happy with Mike Muir.

It's raining here so I'm in the mood for some black metal.

Vinterland - Welcome my last chapter
Vinterland hailed from sweden and released a couple of demos and this amazing album and then dissapeared. Their sound is similiar to dissection and sacramentum but I prefer vinterland over both of them.
Wings of sorrow
A vinter breeze
Our dawn of glory

PeWuv.jpg

Filmbulwiner - Servants of sorcery
Early Celtic Frost worship featuring infamous clown Shagrath (pretending to be a fairy on the cover). This was before he joined the circus known as Dimmu Borgir.
Black metal storm
Servants of sorcery

Craft - Terror propaganda
One of the best Darkthrone clones.
616
False orders begone
Ablaze

Ljå - Til avsky for livet
Hailing from Norway. They sound a bit like early Gorgoroth with som folky moments and a tiny bit of melody.
Tilgi dem aldri
Vådeskudd
Granatsjokk

7JX5g.jpg

Throne of Ahaz - Nifelheim
Great black metal from sweden. Sounds a bit similiar to Darkthrone's A blaze in the northern sky. Lots of first wave bm influences.
An arctic star of blackness
Where ancient lords gather
A winter chant

It's Official: Reunited Original Lineup Of BLACK SABBATH Working On New Album[/url said:
THE most closely guarded secret in rock music can be revealed – the original Black Sabbath line-up is getting back together.

Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward have begun rehearsing for a tour and new studio album.

In June this year vocalist Ozzy and guitarist Iommi wrote new material for a record that will be released next year.

‘‘We’re really looking forward to it and I think the stuff we’ve been writing is really good,’’ said 63-year-old Iommi. ‘‘It’s more back to the old original stuff.’’

More here.

Ya know, there was a time where I would have been thrilled with this news. Now? I'll be extremely cautiously optimistic. Maybe it will be amazing ... ? Right?
