Pretty good. I never really gave that band much of a try, but they've been fairly active over the past 33 years, with a new album every now and then, and moreso in the recent years. I had no idea, despite having actually seen them live at Wacken 2007. Now I feel bad.
hoooooly hell, this is absolutely incredible.
I've listened to just about everything posted in the past few pages, and this is BY FAR my favorite. Maybe it's because I'm still relatively new to black metal (been into it for just over a year now), but this is unlike anything within the genre I've ever heard.
Incredible. Thanks so much for sharing brother! \m/
So, Aurora Borealis has a new album coming out soon called Worldshapers. Here's a song, have a listen.

So, basically .... chug?
Another idea for drinking game - have a shot every time you hear 'hammer' or 'heathen' in this song
Noisem: Agony Defined
I know some don't consider them metal, but I got the APMD Wolf banner for Xmas. Definitely one of my favorite pieces of artwork.
anybody else get good shit for the holidays?
Iced Earth's Plagues of Babylon is up on Spotify already.
The two previously released tracks don't do the album justice, its quite good. But its still Iced Earth so if you don't like them you probably won't like this.
Hearing Hansi from BG in songs like Resistance was damn cool. Unfortunately The Journeyman is missing though, which I was really looking forward to because of the Volbeat vocalist being on it.
Why wouldn't All Pigs Must Die be metal? Good shit!
Plus, even if that was a Katie Perry poster, you'd still be forgiven for having a Sleep poster up. (ok, well, maybe not, but...)

Fuck, this album is so amazing. I may be in the minority, but I think Keeper Part 2 is VASTLY superior to the first album.
Considering that the vocalist's former band (Discordance Axis) has songs famously named after Sega Bass Fishing and Ikaruga, I'd say it's very likely.I wonder if they are CAVE and/or shmup fans

Sorry for the double post but wanted to share this album too.
Cult of Fire - मृत्यु का तापसी अनुध्यान
Getting around to this now and goddamn is it amazing. A late entry but I would probably have to redo my top 10 metal releases from this year to add this album. Atmospheric black metal at it's finest. The band also has Thomas Corn of Lykathea Aflame fame, who are one of my favorite death metal bands/albums of all time.
