Before everyone trades in their copies of Madden, let me aks you fellas some questions.

Would you be interested in a season 2 using the EA system? I prefer leaguedaddy, but if entering stats and replaying games is souring too many people, I'd be inclined to use it. The advantages would be that we wouldn't have to replay games if we got disconnected (since it keeps the stats, all you would have to do is finish the second half or if it's almost over or out of reach, just leave it as is), we wouldn't have to enter stats, and maybe people would bitch a little less. ;b

We would lose all the awesome things that Leaguedaddy offers (web stats, game by game stats, team stats, etc etc), but if you guys are really annoyed at stats and all that jazz, maybe it's worth a shot.

We could also have trades AND Leaguedaddy if we just start a league and enter the stats like normal on LD. We would have all the advantages that LD offers with trades in addition to that. The only thing we would miss is roster updates, but they'd be pretty much settled down by then and we would be missing that with option 1 too.

The season two league would be much more fluid since all the deadbeats will have been weeded out, too. Think about it!

It's not LD, it's the game itself.

And what good are trades when non-descript scrubs play just like all-pros.

I don't really want to get into this with you, but just looking at the stats..the leaders seem as realistic as ever. If you're not enjoying the game, I'm sorry. I agree with some of your points, but players seem to me to be playing according to their skill level. Maybe more than ever. That could explain FMT's downfall. Or maybe that's just because his WHORE, NCAA has been distracting him.

Also, we've had scrubs high up in the stat leaders for YEARS now. TEs have been overpowered in years past, and no-name TEs have been the receiving leaders for many a team in seasons past.

K that's why I gave two options. Maybe neither of those options are for you.

I'm not going to get into the game and how wrong that comment is because you prefaced your previous post by basically saying "if you disagree, you're an EA cock sucker."

If you don't want in season 2 and you think the game blows, that's cool too. I'm asking for people who may be interested if those incentives exist. I'm almost sold on a season 2, but I would like to know which version people would prefer. I'd even be happy with an intimate 12 man league.

OK, so next time Willie Parker breaks 10 tackles in one play, and runs for 80 yards, I'll tell Ramirez to put his 2nd RB in. He won't mind, because they all play the same!

Good game Miguel, I couldn't do much on O.

No Stats for this game. Player was injured inside the 2 minute warning (inside a minute actually), and the game just kept looping over the field. I remember some stats so I'll see what I can do.

Reset your ps3 before you play, MiG. Or you're going to freeze again. >:|

Remember: if you play multiple games or have it on in practice mode or whatever for a while, then you are likely to freeze if you play again.

well titties! gg mig! i totally gambled on that last PA pass and played the run :lol

also, they made JTO just like he is in real life... a turnover machine! sometimes i throw the ball to a wide open guy and he throws to a completely different spot, or sometimes my guys dont run the right routes for him!

maybe i will put shaun hill in and scale the offense back to Best Coast! at least hill can scramble.... sadly i can't run so i dont know!

p.s. not blaming the picks ONLY on his rating, i made some horrible decisions on a couple of those!

well i had nate on him in man, even 1 on 1 i would win that battle but not when i commit to the run, which makes the CB come up immediately. after that it was alllllllllllll done!

Yeah, Bryan is waaaaaaaay behind and I'm told he won't reply to PMs, so I think we need a replacement. I'm told I'm not a good enough replacement (because I might bring my super fast corners with me!), so if someone else could fill in, that would be aces.

Maybe FMT can take the Browns and I'll take the Fishies? Or maybe CB wants to own some AFC teams since he didn't get the Vikings (you'd still get to own MrBob since he's on the sched!).

I'd be totally up for that. You deserve them for putting up with a 1-9 record without complaining, and for playing your games so quickly. If you don't mind entering in a 2nd stat of stats, you'd essentially be getting a 2nd chance at the playoffs with the Browns. I'm sure Rors will be down with this..so unless Bryan cockblocks you at the last minute by returning from his trip to Resistance2Land, they'll be yours.

Ugh, well he doesn't post here and he didn't return my last two PMs. I don't feel like sending them anymore, so maybe DCX can play me as them and Bryan can play those patient enough to deal with him, like yourself.

You've gotta want it! It only takes a minute to read/post here. You don't need to be all hardcore, refreshing the thread and dealing with problems, like myself and Rorschach do.

The thing is, he has 6 games so far to catch up on. That's almost half a season. :X I don't know if he'll have the time.

I would be down to try the EA system for a season. Just to see what they have cooked up for Madden.

I'm playing fiddy tonight....dcx and dskillz when can you play our games? Can't be right now either.

Oh and I might hang around for another season if I don't have to enter league daddy stats. Too much work.

What they've cooked up? That would be...nothing. I'll be honest with you, it's bare bones as fuck. If we only used the EA service, we'd have to keep the schedule in this the season 2 thread or on our own site because they don't have real NFL scheds. :|

If you want to see what one looks like, you can enter the GAF one FMT made or create one. There's no penalties or anything for creating one. :p

Use league daddy for season 2 and just require team stats to be entered by the winning team.

Problem solved.

Individual stats are overrated anyway. I don't pay attention to them. Just Ws and Ls!
