It's like everyone just woke up an remembered that the Rams have the NFL's worst run defense (with Atlanta being the best running team) and terrible special teams play.

Yeah that was a block in the back. You'd figure they would have not called the penalty on McDonald and called that clear block in the back (at least that's what us "cheering for a close game" folk were hoping), but they almost never fucking call block in the back.

just messing with you man, but honestly you guys need a serious overhaul on D. falcons are making this look so easy. the only stop the rams have really have in this game is when vick stumbled and fumbled on his way to a touchdown. what a joke...

But seriously WTF!? How can the Jets be so stupid to let the time run out in the last minute instead of running the ball and getting closer. And then they take a kneel and loose a yard just to take 2 freaking seconds seconds of the clock. I mean, how stupid can they be?

Well, the Falcons have 325 at the moment...I could see a 3-and-out (actually STL would probably go for it on 4th down) by STL and then watch Dunn/Vick break open a 60-70 yd run with the way the Rams D is playing :lol

well it's been a long season.....we got farther than i ever thought we would.

hopefully we can draft or sign some good run stopping linebackers in the offseason.

Ben is lucky to be a good team, but he is a MUCH better player then he showed us today. I guess the pressure got to him today, but I still believe and I am sure he will bounce back in a big way next week. It also helps that neither defense next week is as good as the Jets.

Whatever, it was a garbage miracle win for the Steelers, but I will fucking take it. I think we will do better as the "underdog" at Heinz next week. Thank God for fucking Doug Brien. He was the MVP of the game by far.* And I don't think Jets fans can diss Chad for what he did today. He was under a ridiculous amount of pressure and he played like a veteran and didn't throw any big INTs in the 2nd half. Also gotta give all the credit to our defense, any time you give up 3 points game ball generally goes to the Defense. Today was an abnormality, because the game ball goes to someone on the other team......


* To be fair, it is incredibly hard to kick at Heinz field unless your name is Vinatieri. Even Steelers kickers have problems there.

Holy crap, I think I had two or three heart attacks......unreal. Hats off to the Jets, they just don't quit.

That being said, I'm only giving a partial game ball to Brien. I'm also giving some to the Steelers Oline and to Willie friggen Willliams, he played a monster game at corner for a 33 year old.

My advice to Ben, throw those god damn gloves in the garbage. But I also give some credit to the Jets, they play tough D.

all i remember from that eagles/falcons game is when mike vick had a sweet run to the goal line, then got the living shit knocked out of him at the goalline by brian dawkins, but held on for the TD. then it got called back for holding. i said to myself i KNOW that shit had to hurt like a motherfucker, and now he doesn't get a god damn thing out of it

thats basically what i have nightmares about..... :lol

i will never forget that play....cause he got hit HARD and STILL got the TD but it was taken away from him because of a stupid offensive holding...i think it was.

but yea....eagles defense just really has it out for mike vick.

Just got in from the game and OH MY GOD!!!!! Best game ever. The game seemed to fly by too. I feel like I got a little redemption tonight from the Monday night blowout last season. Shout out to soulja. Can't say I feel sorry for the Rams especially since they pulled the same shit they did in week 2 and covered up our logo when they came out onto the field in the beginning of the game. And what's up with Martz calling timeouts and spiking balls trying to score in the last minute of the game down by 30???? Really pissed me off.


Oh yeah.... GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!! :D

this being the first year I actually watched football every week and followed what was going on [shut up]...I hope this pattern doesn't continue. Sadly whoever comes out of the NFC probably won't have a chance unless the Eagles don't choke and TO is 90-100%.

good job, i was obviously completely wrong about containing your offense. good luck next round. I think if our defense and ST hadn't been such huge fuckups, we could have really exploited your secondary. But that's the way it is, back to the drawing board.

Yeah our secondary is our achilles heel. Them dudes have got play better for us to make it to Jacksonville. Our front 4 really saves our ass on defense.

I felt exactly the same way. It just seemed like a perfect storm of Steelers mistakes when I felt they should have been dominating in the 2nd half. I was seriously shocked when Bettis fumbled, I mean he NEVER fumbles! I had a feeling he would miss the first FG, just because no opposing player had ever made one that long at Heinz. Even Vinatieri might have missed the first one. But I was positive after they called the timeout he would make the second one (I usually think "icing" never works, I always thought the more time they have the calmer they would be). Glad I was wrong. :D I knew the game was over once Brien missed the 2nd field goal. That has just got to kill the spirit of any team.

I think I might have cried if we blew our fucking spectacular season from one bad game. Even worse than losing, I would have the worst villain in history as my avator!

Eminem, tommorrow night you get the Ben avator baby!
