Not sure if anything will come of it but the whole dynamic storyline R* has been trumpeting, I'm wondering if going any farther with her will be a bad thing

Go into the office and punch one to death, go into the back and shoot the other, just run out and chase the other guy. Worked fine for me.

I've put in a couple of hours so far and I'm impressed with the improvements in the basic feel of the game.

I'm on that mission when I have to throw shit through a store owner's window. I would have finished it pretty quickly, I think, but Niko seems incapable of holding on to items. I could pick things up, but he seems to drop them after a few seconds.

I haven't had any trouble with him dropping things. You aren't trying to hold down LB after you pick it up, are you?

Just pick it up with L1/LB once, after that dont do anything related to melee or changing weapons, and he'll hold it for as long as possible. Until you throw it.

Go find the brick it will be marked with a blue arrow over it. I had the same issues till I found the brick.

Some of these missions are so...linear. One of my favorite things about GTA (esp 3d ones) was the openness, not only of the world, but of the missions too. You could complete missions any way you fucking wanted. You could do it the way they planned it or you could improvise using strategy involving everything from the vehicles and weapons you had to your knowledge of your surroundings. Seems they sacrificed a bit of that for a more "cinematic" feel with scripted chases (that play out the exact same way every time) and invincible NPCs.

I feel that it's getting more open now. Hopefully, I'm right.


Btw- How stupid is Michelle? >:| I come in a cheap, FOB tracksuit and a baseball cap and she's like "ooh nice outfit". I roll up in a 500,000 dollar car and a 3,000 dollar outfit and she picks it apart. Every single piece. "Ew your top. Barf your pants. Nasty shoes!" etc. Fuck you, ho! You have no taste!

I got that achievement earlier today. Ironically I died in the same spot you are describing here. I like to call it "Hobo Land" (don't know what the name of the place was). They beat the shit out of me.

When you guys do that make sure to send me an invite!! I'm gonna be playing through some single player stuff, side missions and whatnot, but if free roam goes down I can't pass it up. :lol

I believe there's an S there if I'm not mistaken. And even the last "boss" chase in 3 was open. I barricaded his ass and separated him from his entourage. :D You get to be like Batman with prep time!

I knew that Michelle bitch was a lying whore the moment she opened her mouth. It was too obvious. She's the worst undercover agent ever. All she ever talked about was Niko's involvement with criminals and crime in general, and when I was late for the first date she immediately jumped the gun and flat out asked if I was involved with "bad men."

Niko's too trusting. I would have whacked her ass after the first date. No questions.

My god this was the most epic thing I've experienced in quite a long time. This was like being in the Heat movie for real. THIS is what Kane and Lynch should have been.... I/O needs to take note for the sequel.

Alright I think I figured out a sure fire way to get strikes in bowling. If someone already posted a strategy it's honestly a coincedence as I discerned this by myself.

Walk two full steps to the left. Full steps, i.e. stop after Niko stops in his second stride. Then just pull straight back then straight forward. You should get a strike more often than not. Make sure you pull the right stick straight back then straight forward.

I did the same thing earlier,
it redirects you to the police site and you get 4 stars, it's hilarious.

I also finally beat someone at pool/beat the highscore in QUB3D, I've been spending a disturbing amount of time playing the random minigames around town.

Also you can pick up coffee cups, bricks, normal cups, cameras, and probably more stuff I havent found. Each has its own weight/effect too.
