Another frequent complaint in the hate thread: the soundtrack sucks. Anyone else completely disagrees with this? I have about 5 or 6 stations in the game I love putting on, the variety is great. (indie) Rock and Pop, Fusion Jazz (this station opened my eyes, didn't know how incredible that genre was), Vladivostok, The Journey, Classic Hip Hop, Disco, ...

Also, IF99 was my big eye opener. There's some really amazing stuff there I probably never would have listened to.

I like the soundtrack. And whenever i feel like listening to some other shit i just listen to custom stuff i have in the HDD.

In gta sa I would always reject the phone call to intercept those bikes. They were always 500 miles out of the way. The random phone calls from this game can at least be shut off. Those calls always annoyd me in San Andreas.

Can't copy and paste quote, but what do getting all the birds unlock? A lot of people seem eager to get them all. Is it because of an achievement, or is it something cool and useful that gets unlocked? I wish you could save pictures and stuff. Driver friggin 1 had a replay save and edit feature. This would be good for gta to show off crazy things you did.

You can turn your phone onto sleep mode in the phone ptions (the same place you change ringtones). This will stop you being bothered by your friends and allow you to go crazy in peace. Until you need them for something, obviously. I think you can still call out, but I've not tried it.

Mission. But i'm killing time by riding in a Taxi. and oh god, it's too funny when you're stuck in traffic on an on ramp :lol
The taxi is at a point where if he stops he'll let the car go down so basically he's backing up to anyone behind him. and then he drives back up and does it again :lol

Once again, GTA proves itself to be a dream for the obsessive-compulsive 100% completionist group. So much stuff to do!
Ah, and I just saw that at least one of the Rockstar guys has confirmed that he's working on the PC version already. Nice, nice. The sooner I can give this baby a whirl on my rig, the better.

Ahh great, just had to do a mission that consisted of driving to a truck, driving the truck to a habor, have a shootout, steal a boat, have a shootout on the boat. All easy, messed a bit up, survived with around 10% health. Just had to get that boat to the last checkpoint. Also easy accomplished. Only needed to get of the boat. But what happened? While jumping Niko glitched in the boat and lost the rest of his life without even moving. BACK TO THE START! Woohoo!

I like The Vibe, it's got fucking Marvin Gaye AND Barry White.
I also like Liberty Rock, Edge of Seventeen and Evil Woman are awesome songs for any mission. The fusion and jazz stations are great as well. I can always find at least one station that isn't playing commercials.

The biggest problem with the soundtrack is that there are a lack of hit songs and that some of the stations sound very similar. IF99 and Fusion FM should've been combined and have been a huge funk-jazz fusion/afrobeat station. The old-school rap station is a complete dissapointment, why is there no Public Enemy/Tribe/Eric B + Rakim/Pete Rock + CL Smooth? 1979 and Goodbye Horses are out of place on the classic rock station, and I'm still bummed they missed some common radio station formats such as oldies from the late 50s, early 60s or a pop station spanning multiple decades.
