I know it's just anecdotal evidence, but I don't think GTA4 is gonna beat Halo 3 in first day sales. I went to my GS to change my pre-order to the PS3 version and I asked one of the managers there how many pre-orders there were and her said 140. Halo 3 had well over 400 at that location.

Since neither version is gonna have custom soundtracks (not counting playing music through the 360 guide) it came down to achievements/in-game messaging vs free online/reliable hardware. And since in-game XMB is gonna be here soon enough, I have no intention of ever paying for a XBL subscription ever again, and I'm still scared my 360 gonna RROD again, I'm playing it safe and going with the PS3 version. But I swear to God if my PS3 dies on me you're gonna see me on CNN for going on a fucking killing spree across Ohio and Northern Kentucky!

That's assuming the 360 version doesn't have noticeably better graphics, frame rates, or load times. That's why I'm so damn anxious for these reviews to come out comparing the two so I can make a better choice.

Unfortunately, no. Apparently, only Naughty Dog and Insomniac knows how to do real achievement rewards... though I really, really liked the fact how you could see how much other players rock in DMC4.
