MSG Movie II

Goddamn Ramba Ral
was a real dude.
I like the UC series more than anything else. It's grounded in a believable reality and the characters aren't too terrible. Plus the tactics that are employed in the series are pretty good, although I hear Dougram is much better in that regard.

If every Zeon soldier had been half the soldier Ramba Ral was, they'd have won the war. Ramba Ral is so badass. I was on the edge of my seat every moment of that fight. That fight was so good, in its honor, I will not watch Victory Gundam tonight. Which is code for I wasn't going to watch it tonight anyway because uuuuuuuugh. Why can't Victory be as good as Crossbone? Crossbone is the saving grace of Late UC.

Going in the latter half of the movie. Flags. Flags everywhere. >:l

Look up an english translation to the lyrics of Ai Senshi when you're done. Such an upbeat song with one of the darkest lyrics I've ever heard.

Whether the value be monetary or sentimental, attacking the planet is always the first sign that someone is a bad guy in Gundam.

Yes but because it works for the viewer, namely you, the person who is still stuck and living on earth. In the show most of the characters have moved on, they are perfectly comfortable with living in space. Amuro did not disagree with Char about leaving the Earth behind but rather with his methods.

Actually attacking the earth directly has very little psychological impact after the first colony drop. The ruling elite on Earth are perfectly comfortable ignoring such events with a shrug and a wave as demonstrated by their absolute lack of concern for Haman Karn dropping another colony and Char dropping 5th Luna on Earth. Earth is a symbol of the past. Nobody cares, they all moved on.

The original version is awesome, but man oh man is Andrew WK's cover incredibly fun.

All this talk about Emma and UC reminded me I should finish watching zeta and then start watching ZZ. I stopped around episode 24-25? Just around when they are heading back into space? Luckily I'm getting up to date with some gundam games. Played some battlefield record UC0081 the other day and started playing gundam UC. First one is a grind and the latter is DLC heaven. They play well though.

0081 was awesome.

Unicorn was a budget title originally, which slightly cushioned the blow of DLC...

I bought about 90% of the DLC... no regrets. Fantastic game, I really hope FROM does another one to follow the second half of the OVA.

Is that breaking news? I immediately began scouring the internet and I can't find anything

Edit: Looks like you were right.

I don't see any AGE. And I hope I never do.

I'm sure AGE will get some token representation. Not sure how much though. Maybe like one of the AGEs and then the Legalis or something?

I believe it did have representation in one of the recent G Generation PSP games, so I suppose it's still possible.

3DS G Gen game, not PSP. The AGE-1 was originally on the coverart, but was then silently taken off before the game was released.

I've got the AGE PSP game, though. It wasn't terrible.

Oh, ok. Had them mixed up.

I don't have Overworld yet and it will probably be awhile before I get to it. I'll probably never play the 3DS game, what with the region locking and all :/.

Why did we get this instead of a full F91? Silly Darth Vader was so much better than Cronicle.

A full F91 would have drastically improved my feelings about post-Unicorn UC.

Going in the latter half of the movie. Flags. Flags everywhere. >:l

Shit. I'm sorry! I didn't even think about that.

Pretty sure they haven't all moved on if 1)It was still the crux of the movie that Char was going to drop that asteroid onto Earth, 2)people are living there even in Victory Gundam and Turn A if that's canon and 3)Char felt the need to drop an asteroid to convince people to leave the Earth behind.

Humanity is pretty obviously still attached to Earth throughout the series. Why else would the Jupiter and Zanscare Empires be looking to conquer it? Sure, most of mankind has evacuated the Earth for the mutual benefit of humanity and the Earth, but to say nobody cares is at odds with what everyone in every series of UC I've watched over the last six months has said or done. If the Earth was truly so unimportant, why did Haman feel the need to conquer it? Why did Char feel the need to drop an asteroid on it? Why did Crux Dogatie want to destroy it so badly? Why do the Zanscare Empire want it so desperately? Why are the Moonrace trying so hard to get there? If the Earth is really that unimportant, why did Judau and Bright try so hard to stop Haman's colony drop? Why did Amuro feel the need to stop Char from dropping the asteroid at
the cost of his own life?
Why did Tobia and Seabook rush across the solar system to save it? Why did Tobia risk his own life in a reentry battle with Crux to stop him from polluting it? Why is the League Militaire fighting the Zanscare to repel their invasion of it?

It doesn't hold water to say the Earth is important in light of how much importance the series has given it. And if the response to the questions posed above is "the people who live there make it important, and without them, it would not be," then allow me to pose yet further questions: Why, in spite of the efforts of all the efforts of all these spacers to extricate mankind from the Earth, do people still live there? No matter the show, there are still people living on Earth. Why? If life in the Colony is so much better, if the Earth is so irrelevant and unnecessary, why do people still continue to live there?

The Earth is valuable, and attacking it is folly.

It took THREE games to get just the DX, it is very possible they ignore age, even mire so with the significant SEED increase.

Does the new Gundam Musou not sound like a full game to anyone else? Perhaps it's that it is Shin, and not 4, and that they're going back to the lame visual style that worries me...

Someone should post if a PV comes out. Must see.

If anything this sounds like the first big step the series has had since the first.

The Cel Shading was more a filter just slapped on top of the models more then anything. Aside from that, every thing else has continued to be a step back outside the roster. The first real extension of Original Mode in Ultimate Mode, the very large increase in Official Mode (even if they are fucking over every other AU aside from SEED) and a new filter and damage to the models are much more impressive on large scale then the Cel Filter from GM3.

So . . . an open apology to the thread: I've realized since that the way I shat on Gundam 00 was probably fairly annoying, and I'm sorry for doing that. My opinion of the show hasn't increased in any significant way, but I just kind of have realized lately how irritating it is when someone comes in and rains on your show's parade all the time. So I'll try and be less severe in my remarks about the show from now on.

A preemptive apology to any fans of Victory: I'll try and take the above into account, but if I do flip out once or twice, please take it as a moment of weakness.

No worries here on my end, Corvo. Your posts have always been fun to read, even if I disagree with most of what you say lol. I've enjoyed debating with you.

And in any case, it's always fun hearing someone's opinion of each show as they watch through.

Hmm. Can't say I felt the same way about Zeta. My general reaction was
"why would you do that? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"

I also have to admit that I kind of enjoyed the way you coated 00 in pure vitriol. But if you want to try and be less severe in your posts from here on out, then good on you.

Anyway!

GundamGAF Victory Gundam Rewatch
Episode 24

Turns out that trying to find anything to say about episode 23 was harder than I thought; I sunk 2 days trying to stop shaking my head long enough to post something, but no dice. So I'm moving onto the other episodes.

We open with a little break after Uso, Odelo and duder stumble accross Suzy and Karlman. Apparently they're a stone's toss from where Shakti and the queen (and Asher) are holed up, and at the moment they're having a heart-to-heart.

The queen's trying to pass off stowing Shakti with some servant as a mother's sacrifice. Shakti hits her with the "biology means nothing" mixup, but Chronicle counters with the "mommy was working for a better future" feint. Then the Queen swoops in for the "everything will be better now" super. And Shakti just kind of leans into it, like a latchkey kid would, because she just wants to stop thinking and just be held. And Kate's been recording this conversation for propaganda for the Empire. I want to get mad, but that suit of hers is just so snazzy. Being a quintuple agent never looked so stylish!

Uso starts thinking about how her new title might help her make some changes in Zanscare, but Odelo drags him back to Zanscare by pointing out that she's still just a kid; the only reason they even let Suzy, Karlman and Flanders stick around was to humor her. They spot some guards on patrol and decide to bail; Suzy stays behind since she figures that with Shakti and Chronicle there, she'll be safe.

Meanwhile, the League Militaire approaches the same colony in their new spaceship, the Reinforce Junior. They really have a penchant for renaming stuff, don't they? Reinforce Junior, La Vie en Rose IV, etc.
While they mobilize for an assault on Amelia (some real brass ones on the command, btw - attacking the capital of Zanscare like that, crazy stuff), Uso makes a break for it, with extensive support from Haro. Uso's Haro is godlike - I guess it trained alongside Uso back on earth or something.

The patrol guards tear up the place looking for them - everywhere except the alleyways. Seems strange at first, but when they've got random dudes in all black chilling down one alley,
UvnS9bEl.jpg

and bootleg merch in another,
it's easy to see why they stay on the streets.

Uso manages to weasel out of town, but he's at a loss of where to go next, and the gravity of Shakti's lineage is finally starting to sink in; while he's navelgazing, another Sandhoge pops up and goddamnit I just can't.
That ugly, gaudy thing electrocutes the Victory Gundam and Haro...Haro made the ultimate sacrifice in order to free up the controls. Now I really hate that thing.
And Uso gets overwhelmed anyway!
These eyecatches are just salt in the wound!

Apparently the LM's big plan is to force Zanscare back to their bases, in order to prevent them from picking off survivors.

The soldiers that captured Uso drop him like soft liver after they hear about the assault; they figure they can get back to him whenever because of the internal damage to the Gundam. Fortunately, Uso knows enough about the machine to hotwire it together, and he makes a break for it with the Core Fighter and Bottom. Say whatever you want about his tendency to discard parts, but he knows when to cut his losses. He stumbles across the skirmish, and uses the havoc as cover to meet up with Shakti.
Ugh, the way poor Haro's mouthflap bobs up and down as he makes his approach...

They meet, they chat, and Uso decided to leave her behind; they reason that Shakti can help the queen govern at some point down the line.

Marbet and Uso take off - Marbet lands the LM's Deathblow, the Shrike Punt, and clears a path.

Then she decides to make a beeline for the battlefield; she and Oliver toss him some Parts, splitting the difference between them, so that Uso can go looking for Martina and the others, who just so happen to be pinned by that Sandhoge fuck that mobile worker seriously it's like being stalked by a ball on steroids

Its pilots try to snatch the Fishbone, only to get totalled by a long-distance shot from the Victory. Uso tries to escort them away, only to be attacked by Chronicle. Chronicle's so heated that he lets the 'G' word slip past his lips, even if only for a moment.
The animators use a shot from the opening for this fight, too - mmh, all that delicious shading. Uso manages to bust out that spinny beam saber move from F91, too. He didn't even try to connect; once again, he's more than willing to trash Parts in order to get past the enemy, and with the Top gone, he jets off to cover the Fishbone's escape while Chronicle collects himself.

Uso manages to get Haro some much needed technical aid - everyone else has a party, Uso wonders what happens next, blah, blah blah. I'm at the edge of my seat wondering what'll happen to Haro!

GundamGAF Victory Gundam Rewatch
Episode 25

The Yellowjackets are scrambling after their defeat - they're so flustered that they can't even be bothered to retreat orderly. Some of the pilots actually bump into the hatch as it closes and wreck their suits. They reorganize their troops and set up a new plan of attack.

Meanwhile, the LM has problems of their own - the leftover fleets from the skirmish on Side 2 have decided to wipe out the Reinforce Jr. and its crew, and an all out fight wouldn't be very useful for anyone. So they try to break through at once - and they get sandwiched between the ships and the enemy's suits. The YJs are still flustered, though - they keep taking wild shots, which lets the Reinforce's crew run defense.

Aw hell, Peggy got some one-on-one time with Uso. You know what that means. She makes a break for covering Uso by grabbing one of his parts for extra firepower, but her suit's legs are blasted off for her troubles. Uso tries to return the favor; he makes another trick play by using his Top and Bottom Parts as turrets while he approaches with the Core Fighter + Dash Pack. This apparently inspires Oliver to get into the act, and he starts launching both of his parts into the hangars of two ships, totalling them. The captain's pissed that Oliver's getting into the habit of trashing good equipment, but all Oliver can say in response is

How lewd.

Peggy's been picked apart and left floating by enemy attacks; Chronicle takes the shot, and all she can do before the chapter break is watch as the beam comes blazing towards her...

only for Uso to come and block the shot when the show starts back up again. Truely, the flaps of Haro protects those who believe in feeling healthy.

He fashions a throwing star out of two beam sabers by smashing them together where the beams cross, then - wait, what? He can do that? Wild. Anyway, he uses the sabers to make the suits scatter, and then takes a few shots with a nearby rail gun. He tries to advance, but the Fishbone pops up to drag him back - apparently Uso was just about to head into the thick of the YJ's fleets. The detour ends up separating them from the Reinforce and they're effectively stranded - can't move forward, can't move back, and Peggy's in need of medical attention.

Marbet decides to run a two-pronged plan - she and Uso try to raise some hell on the flagship of the fleet, while the crew on the Fishbone try to get Peggy some medical attention. They try disguising the Fishbone as a chunk of rock in order to sneak back into the colony and get her some help. Peggy decided to bail out with her busted suit and back up Uso because she's fucking stubborn. You see this shit? This shit ain't healthy!

Uso tries to run recon, only to get tripped up by weightlessness and pinched by a few grunts. He pretends to be a refugee in order to avoid being detained, and tags along for a public address to the queen. Chronicle's there as well, and he picks Uso out of the crowd and orders his capture. Uso throws himself at the mercy of the queen and introduces himself as Shakti's friend. Chronicle points out that he's a soldier, not a kid, but the queen tries to grant him a respite. Luckily for Uso, Peggy charges through with both of their suits and starts blasting those vulcans of hers, causing enough havoc to signal Marbet and bail Uso out.

The queen tries to escape, but Uso finds her and knocks out her guard with a finger tether (the kid's lethal with those things). Then he asks her to get in the damn robot come with him.

GundamGAF Victory Gundam Rewatch
Episode 26

Uso, with Peggy and the queen in tow, makes the slowest space getaway ever put to cel. The other soldiers respect the queen enough to hold off on attacking, but Chronicle decided to attack the Victory head on; he's willing to risk her safety in order to make sure that the Federation can't use her for propaganda. I guess that as the highest-ranked officer left behind in the confusion, he had to be stupid enough for himself, the queen and Vago. And for a soldier he's awfully concerned with PR. Peggy throws herself at Chronicle in order to protect Uso, and is summarily killed for her troubles;
Chronicle figures that a hit to the engines will blast the whole area, so he finishes her off by jamming a beam saber through her cockpit.
As she dies, she reminds Uso that this is a battlefield, and that he might even have to kill his relatives someday. Uso picks up her dying thoughts, and she says that she wants him to keep living. Killed off within the first 4 minutes, that's dirty. Chronicle goes in for the kill, but Queen Marida throws herself between him and Uso - he might have used her as a shield, but as she sees it he's Shakti's friend and someone who's strong.

The teens manage to make it past the Zanscare troops and into the colonies. They stumble past the guards and accross a contact of the LM (well, he practically kidnaps Odelo, but that's neither here nor there.)

Meanwhile, Uso and Marbet are taken to the brig. Uso's pretty torn up about Peggy's sacrifice; she was one of the pilots who talked to him the most, so his grief is understandable for once. Marbet tries to console him with The Facts of War, but no go. A guard comes in to take Uso for interrogation and to predictably abuse his power, but Marbet and Uso take some swings at him and Uso makes a break for it. All the while, high ranking Zanscare officials watch on in order to gauge Uso's potential in combat. Chronicle and Vago try to stress the direness of the situation - the LM is desperate enough to send a child to fight, and if they've got a suit simple enough for him to use to be mass produced, they're in trouble - but an older general calls them out and says that they're just trying to shake off the responsibility of their losses.

Chronicle excuses himself from the meeting and leaves with Katejina in tow. They come accross Uso mid-escape, and exchange words. Uso's laid out and told off, then he gets dragged out of the complex.
Shakti attempts to excape her room, but something stops her from leaving the grounds of her mother's mansion. She senses Uso passing by, and he senses her.
Queen Maria takes Uso to a factory where Zanscare forces seem to have stored some conficscated Victory parts, including a Core Fighter. She wants him to explain how it works. The teens end up seeing most of this alongside their contact and are arguably confused.

Apparently Uso's guess about Shakti and Maria was right; Maria wants Shakti to succeed her, and lead Zanscare to a more peaceful future. She won't explain why she can't just do it herself, but after she hears about Uso's execution via Guillotine, it's pretty clear why - she's getting orders from the top down, just like everyone else.

The teens help Uso out by trashing the guards, but now they've gone and complicated things. Their contact can hide them just fine, but he can't do anything for Uso because he came with the queen. They decide to use the Victory Gundam to escape instead.

There's a huge turnout for the public execution. The repaired Victory Gundam and Gun-EZ are mounted onto stands, like trophies. Murmors from the crowd claim that the pilot of the Gundam surrendered from the strength of the queen's ideals - man, Zanscare propaganda moves fast. Queen Maria appears, and the crowd goes wild - the sick, the injured, the young and the old, they all adore her. And with the next stunt she pulls, it's easy to see why - she raises her arms and a huge wave of energy flows off of her, seemingly curing and invigorating everyone in the audience. Shakti feels nothing, and Suzy's convinced it's a trick, but everyone else prostrates themselves in awe. Warren sneaks in during the worship and squirrles Shakti, Suzy and Karlman away.

Then it's time for the execution. The older general from before restores order and lays down the law. There will be three executions today - Uso and Marbet, for attempted assasination of the queen, and Tassilo Vago, for losing the Keilas Guilie. It's been a long time coming, but at least Vago gets his. Or he would have, if Odelo didn't decide to do his best Tetsujin-28 impression. He makes a slow beeline with the EX towards the stage, and the pandemonium from the crowds throws the guards off - Vago makes a break for it, and Marbet clowns a guard to get some space. Uso gets in on the super robot action, too - he yells out "Come here, Victory!"

And Odelo does just that. Unfortunately, despite earlier speculation on Chronicle and Vago's parts, the Victory Gundam is NOT easy enough for a child to pilot, or even a teen - Odelo accidentally tips the machine over near the stage, sending it crashing into the guillotine. That's one way of making a statement, at least.

Now that he's back in the Victory, Uso reminds himself of Peggy's words, and reaffirms his promise. Not much time for reflection, though, since a suit's already on his tail. It blasts away at him with beam pistols, and even though they've been turned down a few levels, the blasts are strong enough to knock him towards the residential district. And who's the pilot of this suit? It's Katejina!
Uso's completely unaware, and Katejina's pretty spiteful towards Uso. She lets him have both barrels, and the scene gets all super-detailed as the episode comes to a close.

Aw man, if this next episode is the one I think it is, it's gonna be a treat.

Anyway!

"Why would you do that?" was basically my mantra for the whole second half of Zeta. I just directed it at Tomino in particular in the last five episodes.

Why did Tobia and Seabook rush across the solar system to save it? Why did Tobia risk his own life in a reentry battle with Crux to stop him from polluting it? Why is the League Militaire fighting the Zanscare to repel their invasion of it?

This is kind of ignoring that for majority of UC The Earth Federation was still firmly planted on Earth. Which is again the root of the conflict, that the major governing body of humanity is still stuck in the past. It takes a long time and a lot of effort to make a meaningful change to the status quo and you can see how over the course of UC shows that the Earth Federation slowly abandons it's places of power on Earth.

Why, in spite of the efforts of all the efforts of all these spacers to extricate mankind from the Earth, do people still live there? No matter the show, there are still people living on Earth. Why? If life in the Colony is so much better, if the Earth is so irrelevant and unnecessary, why do people still continue to live there?
Because they don't have the means or don't want to. There are some characters still attached to living on Earth like Amuro's mother but the rest simply don't have the means to leave. The only ones that were really left on Earth were the wealthy governing members of government and bureaucracy, and the poor and destitute who don't have any means of moving anywhere else.

Turn A Gundam 36

In which Loran totally checks out Kihel/Dianna's ass, maybe also Sochie's, and pockets her wet hair that he removed from the drain. Frankly the kinkiest thing I've seen since Haman's interactions with Judau. Such a perv, Loran.

Oh and I guess there was some mutiny hijinks that Cpt. Harry rightly figured would play themselves out. Also I can't tell if Clnl. Michael has the shakes or is just scared. Guin is SO power hungry now.

Mobile Suit Victory Gundam 19

An entire episode devoted to looking for Shakti's dumb ass when she isn't in danger after she put herself in danger by sneaking aboard a vessel she had no business being on and dragging a child, infant, and dog with her.

I heard there were giant robots in this show?

SUCH BULLSHIT. Here is a breakdown of the bullshit in this episode:

Shakti is magically a princess of the Zanscare Empire. Because you know, who would want to root for Spacenoids anyway?
Shakti's goddamn magic bean satchel survives the harsh vacuum pull of space.
Uso is like "Why don't you BESPA's understand us!!" and while that stuff can fly when Judau or Kamille are saying it to people they know personally who are the aggressors in this situation, Uso is saying it to dudes he doesn't know after his own crew fired a missile at them. "Why can't you understand us? What could possibly be giving you the wrong impression about our personal intentions when we so peacefully FIRED A MISSILE AT YOU?"
Suddenly Uso and company are off scott free from punishment after stealing military equipment, engaging the enemy, not accomplishing what they'd wanted, needing to be bailed out by other personnel and possibly revealing valuable tactical information to the enemy. No punishment at all.

If Captain Bright were here he'd lock Uso's ass in the brig whether he was valuable combat personnel or not.

Sometimes, I really like how they use anime and game soundtracks on TV here :p

Episode 26

Ugh, still no new opening.

While Uso is trying to escape from the colony with the queen in his Gundam's hands Cronicle flies in and bashes at the Gundam like the moron he is. Cronicle even actively states that he doesn't care that they have the queen, she'll have to go down with the Gundam. If this lunatic gets to keep his job and stupid ponytail then something is very wrong with this world. At least he should get cannoned toward the sun like Fualah was.

Fuck, if this keeps going on I'm gonna have to watch some Unicorn to remind me why I love Gundam. Cronicle is the worst Gundam main character ever. Even Shinn was more likable, at least he struck down Freedom and did stuff and got slapped that one time.

Peggy got wiped

Queen tells Cronicle to back the fuck off and not to harm Uso, to which Cronicle replies with the most whiny voice I've ever heard. "Why must you treat that child so well?"
Well maybe because that kid isn't the worst fucking thing ever in Gundam?

Uso and Marbet are imprisoned, they cry a bit and then Uso brings out his newtype karate moves to smack some dudes. Which succeeds too well until he runs into Cronicle who manages to punch out Uso. I bet that's going into his diary: "Dear Cronicle's Chronicles - today I finally beat up the bully kid who has been beating me all this time in mobile suit battles but only because he cheats and is a big league militaire poopyhead. He was running around in the prison area with a big sword while me and Kate-chan were having a date and he threatened to steal our lunch money so I punched him and then I handcuffed him so I'd look cool in front of the queen and Kate-chan. I think Kate-chan really likes me and thinks of me as a man. I'm going to show her my cool new mobile suit design tomorrow. I hope she likes it."

The queen tosses Uso off at some mobile suit repair joint, gives him some nice looking candy and goes away.

Maria gives a speech with blessings which ends up throwing some hyper-sonic waves out and.. I don't know. "It's Maria's warmth!" Some dude collapses from the most intense orgasm ever, the lepers are cured, the dead rise and the elderly no longer lose control of their bladder. What a strange queen that Maria is.

And after that utterly strange scene Maria faints and the ceremony continues with some old bald dude angrily yelling, ordering for the Guillotine part to begin. I think a better way to arrange these events would be the other way around, so that the people could go home happy and that the beheaded could be beheaded again after having been healed by Maria's hyper-sonic Blessingwaves.

Luckily the guillotine ceremony is interrupted, Uso and Marbet hop into their suits and Katejina comes in with her own suit to fight Uso.

Ugh, I'm one episode behind but I'm too mad at Cronicle to continue watching right now.

well not really...yet
Yo, the Metal Build Destiny Gundam looks sick

Looks like the MB 00 Raiser just came out...probably gonna order it...I have to say I think these Metal Build figures are probably the finest pre-built Gundam figures ive ever seen. The aesthetics, scale, anatomy, etc, is just perfect

I said DAYUM.

Gundam GAF there's something I don't understand: am I crazy or did Amuro NOT use the Hi-Nu Gundam during CCA? I don't remember that from that movie at all.

I finally got around to playing Full Boost today. Fucking awesome. I was happy to finally play as Marida in the Banshee. I hope there is a disc release announced in the near future because I would love to own it.

Hi-Nu and Nightingale are Wing Gundam Zero EW and Altron EW but for CCA.

They really just take the place of Nu and Sazabi in the Novel of CCA. They don't actually exist with in the same universe at the same time.

I think I'm like the only person who prefer the Sazabi and Nu to their novel counterparts. The Hi Nu doesn't look nearly as intimidating as the Nu Gundam, and the Nightengale is so overdesigned and a mess.

That said, I'd be estatic if the Nightengale made an appearance in Unicorn 7

Not at all.

Nu looks amazing, and shits all over Hi-Nu. The Asymmetry of the design, the fact it's larger and has a truly badass unique beam saber easily put it above Hi to me.

As for Gale, that is easily the worst Char suit he's ever had. It's just an ugly piece of garbage, they tried way to hard with it to be the ultimate Char suit and ended up making the worst.

I think the Sazabi is a lot cleaner looking than the Nightengale. And I prefer the Nu's color scheme to the Hi-Nu's, actually, although I don't actually like either of them.

Getting Hype for a Launch Gundam game is nothing short of setting yourself for disappointment, and nearly borderline just being stupid.

Gundam Crossfire, is one of the single worst games to be released all Generation long. Also the teaser is of RX-78-2, and with Origin coming, them making a game on a new platform, and the heavy focus on Universal Century being hyped, and then combining that over hype because of a lead from an AU that isn't piloted By Kira? The only tears your likely to have is from bitterness.

:( Damn bro you must be very bitter. ;b

But yeah even with Amuro and Char, I'll still be hyped. Besides Dynasty Warriors Gundam 5 is pretty much a sure thing for PS4 if they don't port over 4 to PS4.

Not at all. I find 90% of Gundam games to be complete and total garbage regardless of their cast list.

The first and only Gundam game that will really matter to me will Full Boost and Super Robot Wars Z3. Likely won't even bat an eye at the whatever is at launch even if it had Unicorn and Wing Gundam EW slapped all over the cover.

There are some pretty decent Gundam games. Mobile Suit Gundam Online isn't bad, if you can get past the Capsule gambling. The Vs series is of course pretty great. I haven't played them, but I hear great things about the Gihren's Ambition series.

I think it would only have Raiser if it's a new Vs title.

Personally, I don't really like the design for the Raiser. Too chunky with the Raiser on its back. I don't really understand why it's so popular, but I do like the Qan.
