Seems pretty stock outside of the lack red in the cloth interior and the white panels on the front cloth instead of grey.

Does anybody know how to remove metallic marker from Gunpla? I've been lucky to get it off with an eraser on the larger parts, but the small crevices are a HUGE pain. :/

Finished! First HG in a long time not to mention first of the Build Fighters line. Very happy with it, looks great even not painted but could use a few details here and there. Found it odd there are no black stickers for the gatling gun covers and scabbard when both have small indentation areas that are black in the art/promo pics, while other black parts like the chest, head and crotch had stickers there to make them black. The gatling gun cover and scabbard are about the same size as those sticker areas so its a bit weird.
Also, I can't be the one who kept forgetting this thing had gatling guns lol.
The scabbard for the dual beam sabre looks great, but the way the hands work is pretty pathetic. Its a half hand and a clasp style back hand to close it. Problem is, the dual sabre is basically held in place by this so it wobbles and slides up and down. Also the thing is freaking huge. Easily a few centimeters taller than the actual model itself, still need to do some messing around with it to get it to pose all proper and what not.
Comes with a bunch of beams for the shield and extra sword, no extra hilt though which is lame. It's either in the sheath or not.
Very stable for a model with two gatling guns and extendable shields though.
Either way it looks great as is on my shelf already. Just looking at it makes me want to buy another model and get cracking already. Was a nice way to spend a quiet afternoon thats for sure.

Actually, guess it did not have them when it first showed up in Try. But it has them in episode 8. Maybe they could be hidden in the show, there were no parts for that kind of thing in the kit anyway. And most art shows them. Weird they were not super prominent in the show.
You probably like it because it's not actually based on a Gyan, but the R-Jarja from ZZ. Gyan-esque head and shields are about all it has in common.

Bow to the alter of the mecha porn gods. That ep had everything. I love how the Doms kind of moved around like VOTOMS. It may have been a war museum, but it was a museum full of kick ass suits, that's my favorite Unicorn ep.

Unicorn knew exactly which ZZ suits to make next gen versions and they stayed away from ZZ's lack of elegant designs too. I might catch some flack on here for this but the aesthetic transition from Zeta to ZZ isn't that much of an improvement to me. I found a lot of the stuff in Zeta to be works of art. The Asshimar, the fucking Baun Doc, Hambrabi and Byarlant, not to mention the Messala, Quebeley and The O as big as it is are works of art. Even grunt suits like the Marasai are nicely desgined. Yeah sure the show still has it's shit looking suits like the Methus and Galbady, but there was so much diversity in designs. I'm not exactly done with the show, but some of the stuff just seems to be big just for the sake of being big.

I haven't seen ZZ yet but I thought Z shit the bed with half of its mobile suit designs. I can't fucking stand most of the Titan suit. Unicorn does have some great designs though.

Some of the Zeta suits seem to have an animal motif. I guess they're not for everybody. I'm also a sucker for transformable suits. Grew up on Robotech/Macross.

I'm ok with transformable suits. Zeta is one of my favorites. I didn't really like the animal looks or the fact that the Earth stopped using GM designs and went with Zeon style suits. I feel that was done just so the audience would associate the bad guys with that style of suit.

As far as the primer it depends on how you use it but it should work.

Oh I was fine with the animal looks. After being a fan of beast wars transformers and Zoids I was fine with animal mechs. I thought the Baun Doc with its Anubis motif was damn cool. I'm honestly more of a fan of the experimental shit that Paptimus was making instead of the Zaku copies. That man had an eye for the ladies and for interesting suit designs. That's probably my main beef with ZZ. Even Kamille was a design student prodigy. The main cast were just junk traders.
I was lucky to come across it on craigslist.
Same person is selling MG Sazabi for 40, MG Kamfer for 25, and Kotobukiya Super Robot Wars plamo. He also used to have Gouf and other MG but sold those already.
He was nice enough to meet me at BART and add extra decals.

I always suggest to primer. The paint will chip easier if you don't primer.

Just got my MG Tallgeese III. It's my first exclusive and I was a bit surprised by the monochromatic color scheme of the box...
I have no idea when I'll find time to build it as I have a huuuge backlog :/
Most P Pandai's these days are Monochromatic its a shame they don't do more with the box art for them.

Nah, not a fan of the SF. I am loving the soft plastic for the side and front skirts for better poseability. A little disappointed in the lack of useability for the ASSword and beam cannon, though.
Bleh, I'd rather get the P-Bandai RD version since the ABC mantle looks waaaaaaay better.
I don't know really. All I've seen was TBA for release date so far.
