Basically a kind of Halo-themed, easy-to-understand ISF-style calibration. No accessing factory menus, but everything else besides. There will also be the option to buy and use a blue calibration filter for realy advanced settings. We're just trying to figure out a way to make that thing as cheap as possible. Bungie Store shipping charges are a monster we can't tame.

The audio component is very straightforward test tones - but again, it's Halo-themed.

What you guys should have done is made the LE helmet man-sized and included a blue-tinted visor part. That way, you can calibrate your television wearing the Master Chief helmet. Which is, honestly, a dream of many a man.

I'm definetly picking it up. Looks like armour is tied to achievements, and some of the achievements is stuff like finding all the terminals (I guess like the cog tags in gears).

To say that Halo 2 multiplayer was a disappointment for me is a huge understatement. Just about everything sucked in it [cough]starting with the fucking SMG[/cough]. Fortunately, Bungie seems to have redeemed themselves from what I played in the beta (120 matches).

Also, I was diagnosed with cancer like two weeks after Halo 2 was released. I moved to Houston for about 8 months where I couldn't get on XBL. So, that also played a big role in me not playing Halo 2 mp very much...

Regarding tonight's Live maintainance:

Everyone on LIVE was sent a system message about this last week, but it’s worth a reminder:

On Monday September 10th from 0200-0600 PT (0900–1300 GMT) Xbox Live will be offline for scheduled maintenance. As a result, the ‘My Xbox’ section of Xbox.com will be unavailable, and the Xbox forums will be in read only mode (you won’t be able to post.) The remainder of Xbox.com will be available.

There are no new features that will appear when the service comes back online (i.e. there will not be a dashboard update waiting for you.) Everything should be back online and ready to go by 1pm GMT.

This is scheduled maintenance only. After all we need to get ready for H3, right?

(Sorry, I can’t tell you when the next dash update will hit or what is in it)
