Not to be a dick or make a run out of things to complain about post but what the hell kind of military starts to use ATVs as recon/combat vehicles? Don't get me wrong please, I loved the mongoose in the beta. It's just kind of funny that I've just accepted the mongoose into Halo 3 because of the beta and never really thought about the reasoning behind it in the campaign. :lol
Is there a little in-game banter about it the first time you grab one in the story Stinkles?

The guy in Game wrote it in the book when i preordered months ago (First person in my store to do so apparently). When preordering some other games last month, i checked on my Halo 3 preorder.
The page of the book had been thrown out, and i was told "its probably been moved to the computer", but they werent sure... and they cant check!
At this point it was far too late to preorder it again.
I got in touch with Customer services to see if it was in the system... no reply.
We shall see what happens in 13 days. I may very well let Game feel my wrath.

As a Junior (With a rather low post count / experience), I'm wondering how "safe" GAF is to spoilers. Should I consider bailing out? I quite enjoy lurking here, so I'm a little reluctant to leave for the Halo 3 launch period.

Ironically, this place would probably be safer if you could set it so you don't see the posts made by juniors... at least temporarily.

What number has Bungie thrown around as far as MP maps included with the game? I'm hoping at least 9. They know we (I) would give them a ton of Marketplace points for more anyway...
I hope they have something cool planned for launch as far as downloads go. Gears had the video and Crackdown had free character downloads. Maybe one armor type for Spartans/Elites?
