Favorite Fred sound effect?
I'm torn between "Gurgle gurgle," "You're an idiot!," and the Gold Dust drops (specifically the second one Fred normally plays.)
A perfectly timed "You're an idiot!" will crack me up consistently.

I also used to love the "Oh Yes, Oh Yes" sounds from Taylor Rain. I remember when the had Bang-O for her in Vegas...and the dude who won was married or something and didn't take the prize of her buttocks.
Best Fred drop is a well timed ODB saying "Nigga, please." My favorite instances back in the 90s were when Robin would play a news clip of a politician rattling off a bullshit response to a question and Fred would drop that right behind it. Cuts right through me every time.

I just finished a 5-week psychiatry clerkship in an inpatient psych unit. Many people are brought in to an ER for bizarre behavior. It's a catch-all term used to describe most anything that isn't suicidal or homicidal ideation. I don't know how this works in CA, but he's not likely to be "committed" unless he's a danger to himself or others, having active dangerous hallucinations, or signs in voluntarily.
Judging by the times I heard him on the HS show, I'd say he definitely has bipolar type I disorder with manic and depressive episodes. He's seems to have been in a manic episode the times he's been on the show, being very grandiose, extremely energetic, easily distractable, very talkative with flight of ideas. He meets all criteria for a manic episode really. Other times when Howard called him, he was in a depressed state.
Manic people are fun. You can't get a word in edgewise but they're hilarious. I danced with a manic lady in the common area. Two days later, she had gone into a depressed state and wouldn't get out of her bed or talk to anyone. They can also be mean as fuck in mania. If you challenge their grandiose beliefs, they can get very aggressive and hate your guts. I imagine something like this happened to Richard. Howard has pissed him off many times over nothing. Anyway, it's a terrible disease that's not easy to treat and the patient really has to be adherent to the treatment plan to reduce the cycling.

Wolfie posed his theory to Howard off the air that he thinks Bobo doesn't even listen to the show and only calls in for air time so Howard started quizzing him on the show from the previous day and Bobo could barely answer a question.
Bobo's problem is that he just can't grasp that he has zero to add to the show. Unlike 99% of show fans that realise they have nothing to add so they just don't call in. Bobo just can't do that. He's an idiot in the truest sense of the word. Every second he's on air is a second of the show stolen.
If I'm not mistaken-the entirety of the show prior to the call was about discussing Robin CLEARLY having lost her voice-her speaking voice sounded like someone who was dying. Howard posed to Bobo, who had been on hold and supposedly listening to the show-"whose voice is all fucked up today?" and he couldn't answer.
He knew some broad stuff-but the details of conversations he didn't know. It seemed clear he would only listen to get a few ideas for his questions, but only seemed interested in getting on the air and talking. Someone suggested that he would only listen to shows that he himself got on the air for.
does bobo still call in raving about how beautiful beth is? seemed like that used to be his easy way in.
