The Official Howard Stern Show Thread

I really hate the "Sal is stupid" bits on the wrap up show. It's such a put on. He thinks Central America is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between America and Europe? And Gary/John really think he believes that? Does he think the people are floating on a giant aircraft carrier or something? And he doesn't know where California is on a map although he knows its on the west coast, connected to the Pacific Ocean, and connected to the northern border of Mexico. Rrrrrrrrrrrrright.

In happier news .. George Takei in the house. Oh my.

He's said it before, but he feels he only needs to know things that are instantly relevant to his life. Sadly, I know people like that.

And I totally read that "Oh my," as Takei.

Put this in the Howard Stern rulebook: the show is always at least 50% better when George Takei is on. I wish Artie well personally but I'd really prefer it if George became the permanent fourth chair.

Also, I don't think I ever appreciated how good Howard is with voices. He does a really impressive Takei.

I like his (completely off the mark) impressions as well.

And I agree about Takei becoming the fourth chair.

Speaking of his impressions .. his impression of Ralph with the priest had me in tears. "Excuth me, but can I get up in that bed too?" :lol

George in the fourth chair? You guys are nuts. He works because he is there every once in a while. Think about if Artie had only come in 4-5 times a year for a week. People would think they were crazy for not having him there every day, and yet nobody wants him to even come back now.

Okay, but the show hasn't really missed a beat since he's been gone. I'm one of the people that really liked Artie on the show, but I'm in the minority I think.

That being said, you can't argue that George every day all year would take away from what makes his presence on the show great.

*too lazy to read rest of thread*

Has it been discussed how Howard pretty much outed Jamie Foxx as a gay guy?

No, I forgot about that. He did it with George sitting right there too didn't he? It was pretty obvious that he was threatening Jamie Foxx with that information, and that he better back off.

Absolutely. I love George (his new commercial is awesome) but he's best in short stints and soundbites. It builds the anticipation up to a beautiful climax, oh my!

I think it's sad that miners are dead but honestly the news simply exploits stuff like this for ratings. Nothing they do is helping anyone.

Am I alone in thinking that auto-tune pizza call is horribly unfunny? (and pretty much downright annoying)

More prank calls of cut up conversations please. They're always my favorite .. George Takei, Richard Simmons, Ronnie, Howard, etc

I hate that auto-tune call. It's comes off as unoriginal and lame.

I saw that sybian ride on Howard TV. Holy crap, she seemed to really be enjoying it! That chick Raven was hot too. I thought of a happy medium between the way they normally do it and the guy interacting with her...They should seat the dude right behind the porn start so he's like almost spooning her, but sitting up. He can then whisper in her ear and maybe lightly touch her stomach instead of her back. We get a great front shot, plus the guy is blocked out by the girl...WIN/WIN!

It would be funny if someone like Howard did it. Or if they gave JD the lines and made him do it with his pornstar "girlfriend."

I love Benji's weirdo schtick. The IP segment last Thursday was incredible. I was cracking up the whole time.

It's glorious. I'm listening to it right now. I'm endlessly entertained yet extremely annoyed that they have Benji dead to rights about this but he refuses to relent.

I loved it when Steve Langford was pestering him about giving up the Detlev Bronk lie.

White flaggin' it?

Guests like Jessie Jane and Tila really make me miss Artie. They're completely boring segments unless Artie is there to make fun of them.

I gave her 5 minutes before I changed the channel. Seemed like every time she answered a question with no it was "No, no, no, no, no, no."

Just heard the Rayven sybian ride. My God that was hilarious and creepy. I can't wait to watch it.

Also, I'm really enjoying David Arquette in the Takei chair. There's something about his voice/laugh that makes me laugh. He's like a real life Jeff Spicoli.
