Yes I hated Rachel B sitting in as Wanda Sykes. Bigfoot Jr has been great though. I loled when he told Eric he was gonna eat him.

I think Rachel B. just isn't funny. I'm hoping Mitt Romney will keep calling in or even sit in for a day and one of my favorite guests over the past yearish was Herman Cain.

I still giggle when Fred plays the "Ohhh feelya" drops.

I too noticed Howard with those lame one liners. There was one where he said he saw a documentary about the hurricane and it was a Wizard of Oz joke. I was like "Get outta here!"

I think it's the fact that they are pre-written and then have to be crowbarred into the conversation that makes them so bad.

Makes sense if they now have a Facebook/Twitter style hub for everyone to submit such things to.

Agree on Mitt Romney call ins. Absolutely great impressions. Sour Shoes wasn't too great today, but his Gary always gets me.

A thought just occurred to me - I wonder if its a product of that new social system they installed. They were saying on Back Office Radio that now people who were never really involved with the show side of things (ie Mike Fox - a personal assistant for Howard) are able to write stuff and contribute to the show.

perhaps, it pretty much just used to be jackie, then benjy just writing stuff and passing them along to howard.

That's what I guessed in the same post you quoted. It all started at the same time they switched to Muldred. Richard even said he wrote some lines from home last week that made it on the show.

Just heard the musical - I was seriously in tears "Your looks are a one but your personality is a noin!" That noin thing gets me every time. /simple minded

I loved the way Howard set it up too, talking about Gary being the female in the relationship and how quickly he jumped to sleep in a room with Jon.

The more I hear from and know about Teddy Microphone the more I grow to dislike him. He hit his wife, he has a whiny voice and a cocky attitude, he brags about how rich he and his family are, he brags about how many women he's had sex with (which sounded like a lie), and he bought $400 boots. What kind of man buys $400 boots?

why would ever like teddy in the first place? don't you remember the whole artie teddy fight where artie ended up quitting after he attacked teddy. teddy is an entitled piece of shit who took advantage of artie's generosity.

Kudos to Gary for hitting Howard back after Howard basically called him unrelialbe/undependable for staying home with his wife and kids if the Hurricane is too bad.

Gary: "Would you leave your wife home alone during the storm?"

Howard: "No she's with me here in Manhattan"

Gary: "Well that's because you have the choice of multiple homes. I only have one."

Howard: "Why are you attacking me?!!"

I KIND of agree with this-but to be honest this all stemmed from Gary really overreacting to Howard's question "Can I depend on you". Gary was irritated and defensive and didn't want to give a one word answer-Howard jumped on that and picked on him. If Gary had just said "NO" none of that would have ever happened.

I'm really behind, but I finally just heard the rap battle and DJ Whoo interview. That shit was hilarious. I was on a crowded bus, laughing my ass off. I just couldn't hold it in. People had to think I am crazy.

Howard started off the show by taking away all of his instruments and sticking him on a plain keyboard. It's like handing Wesley Willis a Steinway and wondering why it doesn't work out.

Also, trying to do the cum in his pants bit again was awful. Too many porn "stars" in this week.

I don't like it either but apparently it's a new york thing. I also hate when Howard says "I don't know from ____." How the fuck does that make sense? At least the on line thing can be argued.

Howard sounded like a complete douche taking shots at the staff over their annoyances of him. The Steve Brandano bit was especially hard to listen to. It was like Howard saying no one can have an opinion until they've all gone out and had a career like his. Ugh!

What annoys me about the Sarno thing is that Howard doesn't seem to allow for the fact that some people genuinely have certifiable reasons for back pain. It's not always mental.

Bradley Cooper is always a great guest because you know he's a fan, but I just wish for once he would talk about his sex life. You just know Howard and all of us are dying to know.

Kid Rock calling out Howard about doing AGT was fucking awesome. It always bothered be that he sold out, the guy who built a career on being credible. Good show today after having boring guests Roger Moore and Sandra Bernhard.

Bigfoot Jr. was so good yesterday. The whole thing with Eric he was just channeling Artie through the voice of Bigfoot. The tension when he was using language Howard no longer deems appropriate was like a breath of fresh air. And his calling out Howard on being PC was effective—I think he actually sounded a little proud when the guy said he learned it all from growing up listening to him.

Hell, let whoever that guy is sit in and talk in his own voice. He's clearly riffing and does a great job at it.
