It sounded like instead they got him tickets to the concert later in the week from the label. Hard to say anyone screwed up without knowing the full situation.

I mostly just find it weird that Howard sues his own employer and then wonders why they aren't bending over to meet every demand of his staff.

I'm maybe also kind of iffy on Fred these days since he is the head writer at the same time that they've instituted the shitty Leno jokes. If we don't like the changes in the writing of the show as of late, he's the guy to blame I guess.

I was just swinging in to post about a great interview I just got done listening to - Quentin Tarantino. Good stories and he's so honest. I felt bad for him though when Robin just out of blue insults his appearance (after she got done earlier in the show saying Gary looks like he'd be married to Secretariat).

The most telling sign that Robin's thing is serious is that Howard has been visiting her at her apartment. Just imagine how little he wants to do that.

That and the early Back Office Radio when they acknowledged that she's obviously sick and "courageously" doing the show to stay in touch with the outside world.

But now BOR has been neutered so it's just Jason shitting on JD.

I don't mind Robin, she's part of the show. The only time I can't stand her is when her 34 narcissism is rearing it's ugly head. And of course as mentioned above "I was just gonna say that"

You know I hadn't even thought of that but thats very true. Not only that but he went by himself (no Beth) to watch movies with her in her living room. He wouldn't do that for anyone else. Probably not even Robin if she were completely healthy.

I have been a month behind since Howard's last vacation. Now I'm on break myself. It's amazing what some time off will do, as I am now completely caught up. I hate to admit it, but I thought the Tan Mom interview was hilarious even if she did talk poorly about Kelly Ripkin.

These forced jokes that Howard has been doing the past few weeks have made things completely unbearable. He'll read a news story and then do some badly written joke one after another.

"It's been reported that men find women more attractive when they look like them. This would explain why I jerk off to pictures of the Wicked Witch of the West".

EDIT: Do they get into this Fred ticket situation after the 12/10 show? Howard says he knows who's responsible but doesn't say. Who was it? Was it Ross?

No it was Ross Zapin. Though as Gary said on wrap up after Ross gave the reason why he was satisfied with his explanation, though they didn't go into what exactly he said. Though D-list guys like Steve Gutenberg got in to add insult to injury.

Yes Scott Greenstein booted Robin and Fred from McCartney but it was Ross's decision this time to say no to Fred. Ross is very good friends with both Howard and Gary, and Jason's most hated person at Sirius. I also remember Robin spending a vacation with Ross and his wife at their Hampton's home.

Everytime I've ever heard Ross on the air he just comes across as a total douchebag. If I recall correctly he didn't even get a job at Sirius until Howard signed with them. Nepotism at its finest.

I love the few times that Jason and Ross have truly gone at it. Ross does come across as a bit of a douche, so it's fun to hear Jason push all his buttons.

Yeah those forced jokes and Robin's forced laugh are really bad. These just started within the last month or so. I'm guessing he has a new writer doing this? Perhaps Shuli?

Tan Mom interview was the greatest moment in the show this year. Watching her threaten to throw her water bottle at Stern on HTV was amazing. The way her lips keep quivering. She can't form a proper sentence. Fuck, I love it.

I just listened to a great segment with Sal and Ross going at it that I had previously forgotten about it. Its on Fight Week Round 3 episode 2 about exactly half way through the show. Sal accuses Ross of getting a cut of the bar where Ross threw a Sirius party. Its great stuff because you can tell nobody talks to Ross that way and he doesn't know how to handle it and then on the wrap up show he starts to get really pissed.

Unrelated: I'm not as in good of shape as I should be in and lately I've been going on three mile walks and they go buy in a breeze while listening to old fight weeks. In the words of Tim Sabean, "Its the greatest show on Earth." I'll never tire of hearing Jackie and Gary's balls get busted.

I often go through my archive to listen to old shows while walking on my treadmill in the morning. I can usually do a whole show plus wrap up over 2 days. Listening to some 2010 shows, just listened to Dave Lampert, Raven Alexis, David Arquette episode lol. Fuck me Raven, Get the poison out. Let it go. Fuck me Robin.

At the end of the 12/12 episode now. What a let down the last two weeks of the show were .. Tiki Barber and the cast of AGT. WGAS, WGAF?! And in between that, Howards lame news bits and terribly unfunny and overplayed clips of 'Sandusky Claus' and porn stars and whack packers singing Christmas or Musical songs. The only thing that can save this is that Jason and Will have something juicy on Back Office Radio about the Christmas party.

^Yeah I have to agree. When I finally got caught up, I realized that I could barely even remember anything from the last handful of shows. I looked up what I had supposedly just listened to and realized why I zoned out through so much of it.

I got caught up over Christmas while at my in laws just laying around playing games and resting-I literally fell asleep during the majority of the shows. I have to say I did like the Nick Cannon interview though.

FYI - apparently there'll be a live show tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday.

Also, I listened to the latest Back Office Radio - apparently Jason pulled a Gange. There's an under reported story of the week segment on BOR and Gary thought the story was about his youngest son, Jackson, getting a call from The Game but during the week Jason and Will changed the story to the thing about how Ronnie would masturbate with his friend. So Gary asked for a copy of the under reported news of the week segment (thinking it was about his son) and Jason/Will thought nothing of it and sent him one and Gary took it home and listened to it with Jackson and Mary, heard the stuff about Ronnie, and shut it off immediately and called Jason to yell at him.

And another good story from two episodes ago - at the Christmas party JD spilled some of his drink on Don Buchwald but was so drunk that he didn't even notice and didn't apologize or say anything to Don.

EDIT: Kind of interesting .. someone asked Jason if he could fire anyone who would it be and Jason's answer is Benji.
