Sooo.. the iPhone 4 is going to sell like crazy in Japan too. In the biggest electronic department store where I live (Yodobashi Camera - Umeda) they ran out of preorders in a few hours, and other places like the Apple Store and other stores are in the same situation, apparently.

God damn!.

This reminds me why I abandoned the OT iphone thread. Just pages of the most boring, lame shit imaginable. Come on. If you're going to hijack a thread, at least have the decency to not go on and on about your personal lament in the lack of a color... a fucking color! not being available at launch.

After dealing with apple for an hour and a half I just went to ATT and bought the phone in 5 minutes.

Just one this worries me, on the bottom of the screen it said, Paid by Visa card XXXXXXXXXXXXX under the one time fee and under the monthly service fees it said "Charged to Visa Card XXXXXXXXXXXXX". Does that mean all my monthly service fees will be charged to my card? Because Im on a family plan and that'd be bad haha.

no, they just charge the phone to the card right away....its retarded IMO.....they shouldnt charge it untill it ships

2 hours in and still no phone pre ordered. The apple store is "busy updating" again. To those who have been successful, are you upgrading, or new AT&T customers?

I was trying to upgrade through the AT&T site but when it showed me the phones the iPhone 4 was not there *sigh*

Ill wait and see if they fix that, it not then to a AT&T store it is :(

I'm in the same boat, i wonder if it's because I have a FAN account. If I select pre order while not logged in, it shows me the iPhone 4, but not when I am logged in. Guess AT&T deemed me not worthy.

Apple store back up, I got through and pre-ordered a 32GB iPhone 4 for in store pick-up. Sadly there is no white available, but I need a new phone, my old 3G is crapping out.

Wasn't sure if I should go with 16GB or 32GB. I only have an 8GB 3G iPhone right now, but I figured since I'll have this phone for another 2 years, I might as well get the bigger version.

The thing is they will... so I would just snip it down to be honest with you. They will start the cancellation of unlimited before iPhone 4 releases guaranteed.
 
You are not alone, I am not pre-ordering mine at this moment (even though I can), my SO is in the contract with me and he has a white iPhone, and since these morons doesnt seem to know what a PRE-ORDER means I will just order when the white one becomes available.

I mean, is it so hard to make the PRE-order and then ship when it becomes available? Am I asking for too much?? *sigh*

Maybe there's a chance it won't be available for months or longer after launch, and they don't want to get people upset thinking they can pre order the white and have it at launch, or soon after.

People are speculating the white model may be getting a redesign because of the ugly proximity grill visible on the white model but not the black.
