I'd prefer all the Peggle Dual Shot content in one, er, shot as well but at $5 for Peggle and possibly another $5 for Peggle Nights, it will still end up being cheaper than buying the complete Peggle experience on any other platform.

Unless they start selling some of the free PC DLC content as microtransactions or something...

Peggle is awesomesauce - I never played the original version (only the bundled version that came with Orange Box), so I can't speak to any differences but control is absolutely great and it looks fantastic on the iPhone screen.

Early impressions of Peggle...

It looks more like the PC version than Dual Shot.
It plays as well as you'd hope Peggle would on the iPhone.
It auto-saves after every shot (!!).
The touch control can be annoying (you'll set up a shot, then lift your finger and the sudden motion will move the aim) but there's a wheel you can use to fine tune your aim.

Other than that...it's motherfucking Peggle on the motherfucking iPhone for 5 motherfucking dollars. BUY IT!

That's what roped me in. Peggle DS is Peggle still, but it's just not as crisp. This Peggle is tasty smooth. I just wish it had Nights in it, as I haven't played as much of that.

Just got this, played the first couple of puzzles. Saw a slight hitch but only after 'shooting' i.e. nothing that effects the shot.

Loving the zoom in feature, and the control (whether it be by wheel or touch) is so far very smooth. I even went ahead and cleared the first puzzle.

So far so good. We'll see how it holds up.
