It's funny, even after my screen gets gunked up something fierce it bounces right back and is smooth and glidey. Personal question robert, ever use moisterizer?Robert Ashley said:Do I have some kind of oily finger genetic deficiency? I've noticed that in certain mysterious meteorological and hygienic conditions, my fingers slide quicky across the screen. But more often than not, I get an annoying ammount of friction from the screen, and it makes certain games almost unplayable (Minisquadron and GeoSpark in particular). Anyone else have this problem?
I've tried compulsive handwashing, but it hasn't helped anything but my OCD.

I have the same issue. My fingers are much more oily than the two people at work that have iPhones in my area too. The oleophobic coating on the 3GS helps a bit, but I was too paranoid of a permanent scuff that I put a anti-glare screen protector on it.Robert Ashley said:Do I have some kind of oily finger genetic deficiency? Hmmm. Too bad I have no friends here to play with. I think I'm going to ship these back home for a buddy. My only regret will be that one day Self Aware will become famous like Nintendo, and the signed set will become a collector's item...
It's about what you'd expect. Worth it, imo.Eggo said:How is the Where's Waldo game? I'm tempted, but a reader review mentioned there's no pinch to zoom? Seems silly not to have that.
Whoa. Those look much better than I had imagined. Hellava, you really soft-sold those decks. Hmmmmm . . . wish I had jumped on those earlier now that I see them.mrkgoo said:I was so excited I had to repost this:

Heh. Again, I didn't work on Waldo, but the team here is freaking out over how well it's selling.![]()
I found modern combat rather good but I am soooo looking forward to nova mainly because it's more doom styled, less camp and ironsight and more run and gun. Also I love sci fi games :lolGCQuinton said:

First of all what make is your router, Netgear's have terrible problems with iphone wireless and right now it's unfixable, you can connect but it's not a solid connection (annoyingly I have a netgear as my new router and it's awful) but otherwise there should be a good spread of wireless searching app's on the store, no idea which ones are best though.Dunlop said:
Try to do that in private please
My wife just bought me a Ipod Touch, I have no idea how I ever lived without one. So far I just picked up Angry Birds (it took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to put it on the damn thing as I am an apple anything noob).
Are there:
Any apps to look for Wifi Networks? Or at least one with better tools. I had problems at first connecting to mine and there was no specific error messages. There are tons of free Wifi networks downtown and I have no idea how to scan for them at the moment
WiFiFoFum is the only one I know of. I wish there was one from Xirrus but that's a good enough app for the price.Dunlop said:

I don't understand how you could sell your DS unless you didn't have any games for it. Don't you want to go back and play the stuff you have at least? And when DQ11 comes you may want that maybe?HBP said:I am loving iBlast Moki, Mini Squadron, and Angry Birds right now. I went ahead and sold my DS on Amazon, I hadn't used it in months, I can't bring myself to spend $30+ on a DS game when there are so many awesome iPhone games for almost nothing.

The cases didn't come together until the last minute - we'd been scrambling to find a storage solution because it's an odd-sized deck. But we knew we wanted to do more than just ship a shrinkwrapped deck of cards, so we spent a couple days scouring the land for some nice cases. The deck in its case, I think, if you like the game, is just really nice to have.
For me, I've got a framed copy of every game I've worked on hanging in my stairway... until we started Self Aware, where since everything's digital, we don't ship games in boxes. So I broke open my deck, scattered the cards in a frame, and hung that up.
I'll need to do something for Taxiball and Card Ace eventually (I think we might do a run of the Card Ace cards, just 'cause I really like the design of 'em, but it'd depend on demand), just to have something to put up with the rest of the games.
Jessecuster - PM me - did you place an order? Or are you one of the people in the queue for the last set of decks?
And mrkgoo - bust that sucker open! These are meant to be played with!
Thanks!
