buy angry birds right now, or the birds will just get much angrier.

Angry Birds for me is the kind of game that pisses you off to no end, but you just have to give it one more try. Eventually you beat a level and feel awesome :D

I've been trying to buy Auditorium all day but judging from some comments, the latest patch broke the game? That means the game is unavailable to purchase and I don't want to miss the sale.

hey, traffic rush is actually free today guys...don't know if it's only today or not.

BargainBin just alerted me that MiniSquadron is back down to 99 cents. "Item is being modified message", though, according to my friend who hadn't gotten it yet.

Do I have some kind of oily finger genetic deficiency? I've noticed that in certain mysterious meteorological and hygienic conditions, my fingers slide quicky across the screen. But more often than not, I get an annoying ammount of friction from the screen, and it makes certain games almost unplayable (Minisquadron and GeoSpark in particular). Anyone else have this problem?

I've tried compulsive handwashing, but it hasn't helped anything but my OCD.

I was so excited I had to repost this:

Amazing!

Hmmm. Too bad I have no friends here to play with. I think I'm going to ship these back home for a buddy. My only regret will be that one day Self Aware will become famous like Nintendo, and the signed set will become a collector's item...

It's funny, even after my screen gets gunked up something fierce it bounces right back and is smooth and glidey. Personal question robert, ever use moisterizer?

I get that if I play excessively for a long time. Comes from sweat and condensation too (you know, playing under the covers on a cold night).

Handwashing robs the oils from your skin, creating tons of friction. Rub your fingers on your sack for awhile and they should be good.

I have the same issue. My fingers are much more oily than the two people at work that have iPhones in my area too. The oleophobic coating on the 3GS helps a bit, but I was too paranoid of a permanent scuff that I put a anti-glare screen protector on it.

If I wash my hands it's great for about an hour and then another hour it's decent enough, but in the third hour I'll have oily fingers again. I noticed this pack with the DS and PSP, some games on DS wanted me to touch the screen with my thumb; and the PSP 1000 case was a fingerprint magnet -- I quickly got protectors for them because of the slight smears left behind. But even if I touch my glasses I'll have a clearly defined fingerprint that nearly blurs my vision in that area. Always been that way....sucks. So I just wash pretty frequently.

Ohh I want one sooo badly! Helava please come through for me!

How is the Where's Waldo game? I'm tempted, but a reader review mentioned there's no pinch to zoom? Seems silly not to have that.
It's about what you'd expect. Worth it, imo.

Also, I need that word ace package! C'mon, I was even the first person to buy extra in-game cash! =P

Much as I loved Bounce-On they completely fucked it over with the plus+ update, what happend to the great game music this app once had? now it's some generic atmosphere like tunes which take away a lot of the charm the game once had, plus they somehow made the game skip frames every second compared to the baby smooth game it was only a few months ago.

The biggest downer of the year for me, sometimes changes make games worse, not better.

Whoa. Those look much better than I had imagined. Hellava, you really soft-sold those decks. Hmmmmm . . . wish I had jumped on those earlier now that I see them.

It's the best game you've ever played!

*shameless plug*

Heh. Again, I didn't work on Waldo, but the team here is freaking out over how well it's selling. :)

My next project is Family Feud - hopefully it'll sell as well. Should be up shortly.

The EA Christmas Deal of the Day is Sudoku

And another project I worked on while I was at EA, a few years back. Buying just to see if I'm still in the credits :)

Where's the version for other countries? Or is there some sort of licensing snafu to do with the Waldo/Wally change?

I am loving iBlast Moki, Mini Squadron, and Angry Birds right now. I went ahead and sold my DS on Amazon, I hadn't used it in months, I can't bring myself to spend $30+ on a DS game when there are so many awesome iPhone games for almost nothing.

It's actually being worked on right now - I saw the QA guys working on it yesterday so it should be on soon.

O_o

Try to do that in private please :P

My wife just bought me a Ipod Touch, I have no idea how I ever lived without one. So far I just picked up Angry Birds (it took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to put it on the damn thing as I am an apple anything noob).

Are there:

Any apps to look for Wifi Networks? Or at least one with better tools. I had problems at first connecting to mine and there was no specific error messages. There are tons of free Wifi networks downtown and I have no idea how to scan for them at the moment

First of all what make is your router, Netgear's have terrible problems with iphone wireless and right now it's unfixable, you can connect but it's not a solid connection (annoyingly I have a netgear as my new router and it's awful) but otherwise there should be a good spread of wireless searching app's on the store, no idea which ones are best though.

WiFiFoFum is the only one I know of. I wish there was one from Xirrus but that's a good enough app for the price.

I don't understand how you could sell your DS unless you didn't have any games for it. Don't you want to go back and play the stuff you have at least? And when DQ11 comes you may want that maybe?

Ha! I didn't want to get all salesman-y on people. I just wanted to announce they were available. :)

The cases didn't come together until the last minute - we'd been scrambling to find a storage solution because it's an odd-sized deck. But we knew we wanted to do more than just ship a shrinkwrapped deck of cards, so we spent a couple days scouring the land for some nice cases. The deck in its case, I think, if you like the game, is just really nice to have.

For me, I've got a framed copy of every game I've worked on hanging in my stairway... until we started Self Aware, where since everything's digital, we don't ship games in boxes. :( So I broke open my deck, scattered the cards in a frame, and hung that up. :) I'll need to do something for Taxiball and Card Ace eventually (I think we might do a run of the Card Ace cards, just 'cause I really like the design of 'em, but it'd depend on demand), just to have something to put up with the rest of the games.

Jessecuster - PM me - did you place an order? Or are you one of the people in the queue for the last set of decks?

And mrkgoo - bust that sucker open! These are meant to be played with! :D

Thanks!

anyone tried "implode!"? Looks kinda neat and it's on sale for $0.99 right now. I'm thinking about picking it up.

I bought it earlier, haven't played a lot but it's pretty fun.

I only had Chinatown Wars left and I hadn't played it or wanted to for a long time. Not interested in DQ11 I mostly only play western RPGs, the only ones I have likely recently are Oblivion, Fallout and Fable.

Anyone tried Avatar yet? If you're at all interested in a lengthy action-platformer, I'd highly recommend picking it up. It's pretty awesome so far, although it isn't terribly challenging. The production values are ridiculous.

I would, but like I said, I don't have anyone to play with here, so I might just give them away as a gift to people back in my home country.

Thanks, though, they rock!

I'd love to know how many others have done this, or are thinking of it.

(I can't give up my DS rpg goodness though...)
