lol, 500 errors getting too rampant I guess. oh well.

I've been having problems with backgrounder. Every time I try to activate backgrounding with a 'short hold' through activator it just takes me to the backgrounder settings app instead of actually activating backgrounding. I'm also using circuitous as my multitasking app, but I also like using the original backgrounding activation and would like it back! Does anyone have any suggestions?
 
Sorry, bro. I'm not up on the jailbreak stuff. Hopefully some of the other guys will figure out where we're hiding out soon.

I legitimately coin-flipped for color on both my 3G and 3GS. Right in the store.

Both times it ended up black. I'll do the same for the 4, if both colors are available. I don't give a fuck.

I wouldn't be as pissed off about Apple not having the white iPhone, if they would have fucking said something at WWDC. They had to know they were having production issues or whatever is going on.

Pretty much. I can live with the black one but I was hyped for white after the conference.

Does this mean all the local stores won't have them either?

I can't do black again. And I don't want to wait that long....
 
This sucks, I think I should just go to bed and wake up at 3am.. that way all west coast ppl will be sleeping and east coast ppl aren't awake yet.
 
Woot, got my order in. I went through att.com. The only thing that worries me is that apple.com specifies all over the place that they'll ship it to arrive June 24. AT&T had "FedEx Free Priority Overnight Delivery" but doesn't specify the day anywhere, so I hope that doesn't mean I'll get it on the 25th. Ah well, if I have to wait I guess I'll build some character. :)

Also, to be on topic: Anyone else get Carcassonne yet? I'll say it again: if you're remotely interested in board games, get this NOW! It's a great game and it's so well put together on the iPhone.
 
Jeez am I livid. Stayed up till 4 in the morning just in case the rumors were true for iPhone pre-ordering. And no white. I've got work in about 5 hours.

I'm happy for those who were able to preorder their black iPhone, but goddamnit Apple.

Apple delivers on the 24th.. they did last year.. they will this year and they will probably stick everyones phone on overnight as they did last year for many peoples.
 
Is anyone having any luck sitting through the "Please wait while we access your AT&T account information" screen?

I've been giving it ~5 minutes, then closing the window and starting over.

i really wanted the fucking white phone and goddamned black bumper. apple really screwed the pooch with this launch.
 
Wow after long and hard debating over staying with the iPhone or leaving for an Evo 4G, I finaly decided to stay but now there's no white phone available. Given that, it means I won't get one at launch now, and it means I can continue to look at the Evo and now have real comparisons between the two. Apple may have lost me by at least not telling me that the white wouldn't be available. It'll definitely be interesting to see where the cards fall now.
 
I heard you cant change shipping addresses on Apple.com .. it has to be your billing address from AT&T?

If that is the case.. Ill order from AT&T..

I won't be home and want it delivered to my office.

Same problem! It is saying they couldn't finish the account or some nonsense and to pick it up from the store. How do I get it to recognize me for home delivery?

I don't think there's anything we can do.

I just tried this @ the AT&T website by the way and already am at the customize screen.

Fucking Apple, always making easy things difficult.

At this point you basically need to get lucky and have it actually pull your ATT data. The next screen shows the phone you picked with the confirmed upgrade price. Not sure what happens after that, some Macrumors posters alluded to a credit check.

i changed my at&t billing address. :lol

this shit already charged to my credit card. thought it wasn't charging until shipment?
