It might not be preferable, but could you play it in windowed mode at the right resolution, maybe?

I already play in windowed mode. And I just edited my post; it's because I want to make videos for YouTube HD, and it needs to be 16:9 IIRC, and not 16:10.

Half luck, half persistence. It kind of has to fall in a favorable position on its side when you first lob it over, but it took about four swings. Ideally, it's protecting you on the side you're on while your teammates watch the other side, I think.

Also more generic responses:

1. Valve has said those things might happen "soon".

2. Someone else will post with the Valve time link explaining that "soon" may actually mean months or forever or whatnot.

3. Someone else will say they're done, but stuck up in Microsoft patch certification.

4. Someone else will point out that no one has ever confirmed it was actually completed and stuck in package certification, and that no one actually knows if the 360 patch is done or not.

5. Someone else will mock the 360 owners for having an inferior game.

6. Someone else will point out that the PC version has issues even with the patch, and it's broken without the zombies having laser guns (this is me).

What a great game!

I bought it when it first came out but have only been seriously playing last week. In fact I've only finished one of the four campaigns. :lol

After playing one complete campaign (or movie) it's enough though. A good hour of this game is all you need to satisfy your shooting action. It's a very intense experience and I love it!

Stuff like that happens all the time when we are playing Gauntlet :lol

Hell, once we had a time where we all went our separate ways straight from the start and ALL made it to the saferoom on BH4 :lol

The smoker had smoked someone, but the tank knocked him free allowing the freed player to juke out the tank and run all the way to the saferoom :lol

That's actually easier, no regular infected will spawn in the sewers while the crescendo event is going, so if you just throw a pipe bomb from the lift and run through the warehouse quickly you're pretty much home free.

NM4 is the hardest (except finales of course), as that lift is basically unavoidable AND you can't take it if your team still lives. I think I was in a game with drake and 2 other gaffers where i got to the lift way ahead of my team (as they lay dying) with a tank, running laps around the ITU until the doors opened. Unfortunately Drake took too long to die and I couldn't close the lift doors, so a tank molested me in the elevator :(

EDIT: and I have done NM3 before and Drake is right, it is easier. But it will never be as ridiculous as NM2, where you have to solo a crescendo and in this case a tank at the same time. Maybe this will make Valve think about skill based matchmaking because if that tank didn't decide to throw rocks I would've died much earlier!

Not yet, we made it all the way to the finale but it was late and there were just two of us left. Lets do no mercy then. I'll be on too.

Is there no where that you can download the scenario posters? I can't buy them from Valve since they hate Canada and I wanna print a couple out for shits n giggles... :(

Thats probably the easiest level outside of the first.

The only trick to it really is, Your teammates have to be alive or else the infected can press E to move close to you :lol Team game

Sitting at 41/51 achievements now, including 'What Are You Trying to Prove?"

I've got that, but still don't have Stand Tall or Red Mist. :p At 42k zombies now.

Some of these last ones will be damn impossible.

1. Doing anything on the dashboard while playing Left 4 Dead (especially while on a loading screen) causes it to freeze up for a good while, and it's slower in general.

2. When I play now the majority of players have either one or two bar connections. I think I had a four bar connection once out of all the games I played yesterday.

When I checked a few weeks ago, you couldn't order this one as a print. Has that changed?

1. Pretty much happens for every game (at least for me).

2. I have been seeing a lot more 2 bars, and I didn't even know it went to 4. 3 was the highest I've ever been witness to.

It looks like it. I'm only getting the $24 one so my wife doesn't kill me when it shows up on our door.

Sweet. Yeah, looks like he added it on Jan 23.

I have so much stuff laying around to hang up in my house. It's all horror stuff though so I can't decide how crazy to go.

Oh, and I just remembered. When I was in the elevator on NM4 yesterday I had a one bar connection, and for some reason I didn't jump when I pressed A. I kept pressing it, and then suddenly my character died and my dead body fell through the floor. :lol
