I still have three expert campaigns to go.
Oh, the other thing that happened yesterday! Has anyone ever had your viewpoint look SLANTED? When we restarted a finale once my entire screen was turned like 30-40 degrees to one side, and nothing fixed it until I like died or we restarted. Really weird, really annoying, and apparently it looked normal if you spectated me.

When we got to the second tank of the finale, it never spawned...nobody spawned as the tank. It just went on forever tank mode, and so no helicopter could ever come. So we had to commit suicide to end the round. And it happened for BOTH teams.
We were hiding underneath the ramp by the helipad, but i tried that four times on versus and it never glitched. Weird.

Anybody know how to counter it? I'm seeing a lot of teams do it and it practically breaks the game.

Amir0x said:It DOES "break" the game, but realistically the key strategy is to get your back to a wall and fend off zombies from one direction... so it's not like zombies can't still come at you, you're just well protected. It's not like the actual game breaking bug I experienced where I hid in an alley during the boathouse finale and the tanks and the horde all disappeared, making the boat come in like a minute.
It is probably best to seal it off for multiplayer though
timetokill said:Yeah, I mean, I don't mind it in single-player. The fun of the game is finding the best spots to fend off the horde, and that one is a particularly effective one.
But in Versus, it's just against the spirit of the game and makes it really annoying and boring to play.

Stuff like that truly makes this game remarkable.Steeven said:Yesterday we had the most awesome moment yet. In this level a tank spawnes and everybody's shooting it. Then someone screams we need to get back to HQ, which was in a house, up some stairs. So we ran back and as we stood on the roof we watched the tank incoming. So I say: so, what's he gonna do huh, what's he gonna do, we're safe! Almost like the tank understands what you're saying, he picks up a car and throws it at us and it bounces off the roof. We screamed like little girls and closed the HQ door :lol.

i have the tank and boomer down but i am looking for decent tips on the hunter and the smoker, the smoker specifically.
the hunter i kinda get and i just learned you can jump off the wall using the pounce skill so i need to try it out. however the smoker baffles me a bit he seems fairly useless as most of the time the tongue thing grabs them and they instantly seem to cut the tongue (i think thats what they do) or shoot me.
now i have tried hiding round corners, on rooftops waiting for the right moment ie when they are under attack by a hunter or the horde or both and yet i still cant seem to get any real damage done. i mean i have managed to hold a person suspended from the roof and it doesnt do anything to them bar keep them out fo the game. and when i do actually drag them all the way to me i dont really get much damage done.
am i missing a trick? or are they more distractions then anything else?
btw game is awesome.

Ferrio said:Smoker stuff:
-Smoker doesn't start doing damage until they get hung up, or you reel them in to you.
-Smoker works best on ledges, as it's harder for the survivors to shoot you.
-Try to wait to use smoker after the team has been boomered. Go for the teammates that didn't get slimed (they won't have purple outline). This goes for hunters too.
-If you drag a survivor across a ledge they'll become incapacitated and need help up off the ledge. This is one of the best things you can do as a smoker.
-Try to always use a smoker from behind the survivors. No point dragging them in the direction they want to go.
-Try to aim for stragglers. No point in grabbing someone that'll be saved within a second.
- It is also fun to grab people off rooftops where it is hard for them to shoot at you.
Maybe! MAYBE!!NemesisPrime said:So that was you who grabbed me at the start of the level and dragged my off while the rest of the team was still picking up guns!!!!!

Actually I've found, if you're totally swamped by zombies and throw a molotov at the ground, you can just rush through the flaming zombies and they won't slow you down.Remy said:- Do not throw a Molotov directly into a choke point so that we can't go any further.
You can do a similar thing in NO MERCY - 4 HospitalRemy said:- That said: there is one crescendo event where, if the other team plays dumb (and most do), it's incredibly easy to get an all-survivor spit. I think it's Blood Harvest 2, where they have to "open the emergency door" after coming halfway through the warehouse area. Just past the emergency door, there's some metal stairs; halfway up them, there's a closet above the room that most teams hole up in for the event. There's a duct that leads to a ceiling grate you can drop through. The team is generally not watching that grate, even though it's in the center of the room.
Hahahaha, but it's so funny!Remy said:- Conversely, if it's getting near the end of the level, and the decision has been made to sprint to the safe room, don't scream into the voice chat about how you need to be saved.
