I've just started reading part 6 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure not bad thus far.

If I had to rank or express my favorites as of now its hard. Definitely Joseph's story & Jotaro's travels are a close number 1 tie. Followed by part 1, then part 5 over part 4. Part 5 was by far more enjoyable then I originally assumed. So as far as protagonists goes isn't Giorno's stand Gold Experience the strongest?
 
Sucks about the layoffs and closings, but at least I do my part and buy my manga!

Also, there really should be a chart that gets released or something that tracks down the amount of manga being sold to see which is doing great and not so great.

The strongest good guy stand is probably Weather Report, then Star Platinum. The bad guys have godlike stands, though.
 
There's something weird going on with the latest Liar Game translations.

The piece of paper Yokoya gave had the numbers 5 16 and 19.
16 was called out, 5 was called out, but now the girl, in chapter 115 is saying the piece of paper had the numbers 1 18 and 19 and acting as if both those numbers on the piece of paper hadn't been called out yet (well 1 and 18 haven't been called out, but 2 of the 3 numbers had been called out) plus saying that 1 is Akiyama's group chair.
It's confusing.

Edit: Ohhh, Yokoya was giving a new piece of paper with number each time. It didn't seem too clear initially.

Bluejam brings gifts to the King.

Bluejam: Looking for children? I know 3 who'd fit the bill.

Bluejam brings the Tenryuubito to Dadan's place. Upon seeing Ace, Luffy and Sabo, Bluejam says it's them. He wanted to bring the 3 children with him, but Dadan stops him.

Dadan: If that's the case, just take me and sell me.

Dadan comments that she has the power (should be a devil fruit) to allow trees to grow freely.

Tenryuubito: Such power could fetch a high price! I won't be needing those scum anymore.

Ace/Luffy: Wait - why? (to Dadan)

Dadan: You both have always given me trouble! But we still are family, aren't we? It's no big deal being a slave, when I'm doing this for you.

She adds that Garp would throw her in jail if she let them both become slaves, and it goes without saying that a jail's more secure than a palace

Tenryuubito: Hey, pirate, seems like she doesn't seem to care. She's gonna bring in the money - thanks~

Bluejam: So, I guess I can do what I want with them?

Tenryuubito silently acknowledges.

Bluejam: Now then, the debt you owe me can't just be paid with money.

The trio appear afraid.

Bluejam rushes towards Ace, Sabo throws a rock while Luffy watches.

Bluejam: That hurt!

Bluejam slashes Sabo.

Ace/Luffy: Sabo!

Bluejam: One's down. But before I deal with you two, you better tell me where the treasure's at! Where is it?!

Ace: You actually - Sabo!!!

Ace gets beaten back easily.

Bluejam points a gun to Luffy: Say it!

Luffy: I won't! We're friends!

Bluejam fires off a shot, which rebounds off Luffy.

Bluejam: I'm dying!

Ace regains consciousness and sees Bluejam crumpled on the floor.

Ace: Did... you do that?

Luffy: Mmm.

Ace: Thanks...Thank you!!

Scene changes to Sabo's grave.

Ace: Sabo...That enthusiam you had...will live on within me! I'll become a strong pirate!

Luffy: Ace, are you not aggrieved?

Ace: Of course I am. But I made an oath. Pirates lead dangerous lives, and should a friend fall, the other must become stronger for him!

Luffy: Ace, you are strong, and I want to be strong too! So, let us be friends!

Ace: We won't.

Luffy: Why!!! Wasn't it I who took Bluejam down!

Ace: Dadan and Sabo aren't here anymore, it's just the both of us. We can't just be friends - we should live on as brothers!

Flashback ends.

Luffy: ...

Jimbei: Hm? What is it, Luffy-kun?
Luffy: I want to live on! For Ace!
Jimbei: !!?
Luffy: Ace lives in my heart!

End

Monday spoilers were only a thing of the last 6 months iirc. Tuesday used to be the normal day, with Bleach sometimes slipping to Wednesday. But with Mangahelper's fast releases, it makes no difference now. By Wednesday the scanlation is out. Besides, the chapters are almost always better unspoiled, eventhough it was nice getting extra traffic in this thread with Monday spoilers. PEACE.

No kidding, part 4's Killer Queen no. 3 another one bites the dust....talk your ground hog day. Then there was part 5's King's Crimson, time stop to the extreme.

By the way I love the music references for the antagonists.

Yokoya gave Samue another piece of paper with two new "safe" numbers (1 and 18).
 
Liar Game 113-128:

That huge release of chapters was nice, even though it made certain aspects of the manga more obvious/silly, like the LGT members constantly giving recaps every time there's a power move made. I was kind of hoping the game would be over by the time I read them all, but the musical chairs game has become way more interesting with all the different factions/groups.

I'm guessing Nao's conversation with the cult member Abe will cause Samue to form an alliance with Akiyama. Samue has provided a nice element to the game, so hopefully the next games will have more "clever" players like Akiyama and Yokoya to mix things up.

I really doubt they're real. It moves way too quickly and doesn't include the "share a drink and then we'll be brothers" scene that will obviously end the real flashback. Plus the whole Dadan scene is very odd (its never been implied that anything happened to Dadan, the very opposite in fact). The entire spoiler reads like something written by a fan who really really wants the flashback to end soon :lol

Apparently there's a plausible, but in no way confirmed, spoiler out there; however it hasn't been posted on any english sites yet. Guess we'll know in a few hours either way.
 
Bleach 349

Todays Bleach episode takes place around this chapter, and I was shocked to find that they completely didnt show this or even having Uryu in this state during the whole Ichigo x Ulquiorra event. They didnt have a problem showing Ichigo blasted in the chest with a huge hole, nor ulquiorra missing and rejuvenating his arm, but for Uryu's missing arm, they cant show it?

Oh darn, lol. I always though bleach was fairly 100% in its translation to anime. The chapter is a nice read though, actually all of the Lust ones, my favorite chapters in the whole manga.

I see. It didn't seem too clear initially to me that they were exchanging a a piece of paper with numbers each time, but it became clear in the next chapter.

After such a big number of chapters to read all at once, waiting for the next one is gonna be a pain.

Oh darn, lol. I always though bleach was fairly 100% in its translation to anime. The chapter is a nice read though, actually all of the Lust ones, my favorite chapters in the whole manga.

Yeah Ulquiorra changed into his second formed.

Id say that its just about ended, the final scene in this chapter was Hollowfied Ichigo sending that red Cero straight into Ulquiorra then "episode end".

They did an awesome job animating the greatest fight in Bleach and it turned out to be awesome. They didnt even cut to like other fights in the process.

Id say to definitely check out the fight (episodes 269-271), they really stay pretty focused on it and dont cut out to other fights

CMX canned? I guess I'm not surprised really, most of their lineup was pretty bizarre stuff I could never get into, but they did have a few good series over the years. Worst print quality around though...

Del Rey has always done pretty good by me, though after they started delaying / cancelling Nodame volumes I've been pretty suspicious.

Luffy and co are shown performing no-good deeds around the area (Luffy not being able to beat Ace once is shown as well)

I can't speak for everywhere, but I know that my shop had more like a 90/10 ratio. I'd have more guy customers overall, but the girls would buy in bulk. A guy would buy Bleach to read on the bus, and some girl would buy like 17 yaois.

And people wonder why the publishers keep their Yaoi line. Fangirls are perfect niche market. They have little self control and easily manipulated into buying that specific genre.

I wondered for about a month at first when we started carrying it, but then it just was like "okay, that'll be $184."

What I really couldn't figure out is why DMP was banking so much money off yaoi and just sitting on the Worst license, rather than letting it go so bjorkpress could publish it in all its delinquent glory. :\

Fairy Tail
It was nice to see Lucy actually fight herself for once (that whip better not just vanish into the plot abyss). However its rather unbelievable that Lucy is really that athletic at all.

One Piece Spoilers

I wasn't expecting Sabo to die but that was a nice twist with him being one of the Nobles. Now I really wonder why Luffy doesn't remember them (story wise vs Oda possibly coming up with this as he went along). Sure Luffy forgets details, but I don't think he'd forget a "dramatic" detail like this involving a comrade.

Still, it would have been nice if Oda had shown hints of Sabo during the Sabaody Archipelago Arc. But I guess since Luffy is going to have to return there to get his ship anyway that will be the perfect opportunity.

We see her running.
Will her reunion with Ichimaru be a ray of light? [Must be some kind of Japanese idiom.]
