I actually have Yi Yi on loan from the library now, having remembered you listing it in your top 10 before, Ulster. It's just so long, and I'm so often too intimidated to watch even normal length movies on DVD these days, being distracted by TV DVDs and such.

It is easily one of my all time favorite science fiction films. It usually bounces around Brazil, Man Who Fell to Earth (yeah the trailer is pretty hokey), or A Boy and His Dog. You guys need to see it!

I think I've got enough selections and safeties that I should be set for the rest of the picks, but there is a particular short film that I'd consider if the Children of the Corn series is stolen out from under me.

Also Vox, I'd move A Very Long Engagement down to the Vs in the alphabetical list.
