Glad people like the captures! I'm very tempted to just go over all the cutscenes in the game and take random screenshots. Capcom put a lot of effort into making almost every frame of the cutscenes look amazing. That would take a ton of time to go through though.
Darnit! Sounds like I'll have to do another capture run of 5-3. The reason why I wanted to take screenshots of 5-3 in the first place was because I wanted to take a screenshot of when Jill jumps up and sits down on the railing, but of course that didn't happen at all.
When you zoom in, are the animations you talk about coincidental, or is the game actually scripted to make certain animations play when using the scope? I don't think I've ever used any sniper rifle during the 5-3 boss battle.
Yeah, I never used a scope either, but after reading about Jill perched on a railing, I tried EVERYTHING to get her to do it. I stood around and evaded her shots for 20 minutes or so and she didn't do anything. She'd just run around and do the regular animations, then kicks, evades, and throws when you're close.
The game is actually scripted to have Jill go through certain animations while you're using the scope. I'm almost positive, because she noticeably taunts and does her roll/evade more often (probably to avoid a clean shot to the device with the rifle). I only got her to do the rail perch taunt consistently when I had a scope zoomed on her. She never did it otherwise.
I guess Capcom figured that some people would try to snipe the device from far away at the beginning of the battle, so they'd give her AI a different routine for it.
EDIT: Just read LiK's post. I guess it's possible that the rail perch taunt is randomized, but counts as a taunt under special conditions? She did it twice when I had the scope on her. Maybe you just have to be aiming at her? Now that I thnk about it, I never aimed at her at all during my fights outside of the sniper rifle. So that could be the factor. The scope was definitely the easiest way to notice her change in facial expressions, though. le sigh.
