I was working on my desktop...and the room was shaking. I was like is it an earthquake or am I having a feint spell and think the room is spinning.

Yeah, even using the popout window to enlarge the screen size, the detail still remains pretty good.

I think the only thing they need to do is up the exposure compensation on the player camera since the players' faces are really dark.

Either that, or put a light on them, but that might be a little distracting.

No offense to Rog, but he should probably let someone else commentate in his place. He does an okay job and says some funny stuff occasionally, but guys like Gootecks or Magus do it a lot better.

He's a much better commentator in SF4 since he actually knows that game. He has pretty much 2 days of Remix HD experience.

Yeah, he does okay in SF4 too, but I still prefer Gooteck's or Magus' voice and insight.

these guys don't have to stream their tourneys for us to watch...someone not dazzling me with commentary is a small price to pay for watching it for free

Bah, from the way things looks, SF4 won't start till after midnight. Come on West coast, think of us in the East coast, especially guys like me that work 1st shift :(

I know, but I wanted to watch it live. A lot of the magic is gone when watching the recording because no matter how the momentum swing as I or you are watching it, the outcome has already been decided.

Yeah, but the recording won't have any commentary, if it's like West Coast Warzone 1's HD recording.

I have to be at work 5:30 AM EST tomorrow. Think I might take a quick nap during Marvel and Third Strike. :D

Better than nothing. It's not like it's a payperview. They're doing it simply to support the community.

And the commentary has been alright to good (I like James Chen). Rog is cool. I think he's funny.

Rice, I do feel for you though. I was up late last night (even though I'm on the West Coast) watching the team tournament.

I think these tournaments need to be held at an earlier time, but at least there's the consolation of catching it on youtube, torrent, etc.

The thing is, WCW2 was actually on schedule earlier today. And SF4 Top 16 starting at 11 PM EST is late, but not TOO bad.

Then Tekken 6 finals started and screwed everything up :(

My computer tends to die when watching an hour of stream, which only a restart can fix. Anyone know a way to fix this memory issue without having to do that?

I'm actually considering not sleeping :lol

I was up late last night and didn't get up till 2 pm so that I wouldn't need anymore then 4-5 hours for tonight. What I might realistically try to do is sleep through 3rd Strike and wake up for SF4 and then nap again till I go to work. Or just say fuck it and find out the result tomorrow morning.

Try a non-Firefox browser like Chrome? I used to have that problem with Firefox.

I'm on Chrome, which does do a better job with streams, but the issue persists. It's actually running okay right now, just my comp is old and suddenly likes to start thinking when streaming for a while.

Yeah wished another site could be used for hosting the feed. Most of the non us residents are locked out from seing the competition in addition justin.tv is banned from the work place :(. Would of been sweet to watch this feed while I do this boring 12 hour shift!

I like TS, but gawd this Chun b.s. is terrible. Yun, Chun and Ken...sigh and on Sunday, Gill rose from the grave.

As much as Gootecks and others complain about IV, I think it is a more fair and balanced game than TS.

(though I do like the music and backgrounds in TS more).

I got my computer back up, so I'll be able to play PC GAF now. I tried using the Fightpad...I prefer the stick. Hitting the buttons are easier.

I was playing against a really good Akuma earlier but he lagged every 5 seconds. It was so irritating but I kept playing for like 30 matches or so because it was so fun :lol

Anyone up for some GFW matches?

Gah, seriously. Please end this torture of low forward, super. Yang reminds me sort of like Fei Long with the Rekkas and throw. Course he has dive kick and is faster.

Edit: Mr. Adnan, congrats on winning the SFIV tourney in Arkansas.

I know I mentioned it before about not being able to find your character. But like, ever not be able to find your niche? Like you don't know what kind of style you play? Patient, beat mode. Rush mode? Whatever?

I'm going through that right now. =/ Sucks.

And seriously...to cut down on time, they're only showing winner's on the big screen. Well, I guess that cuts down on time. I hope they have a torrent.
