Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.
I highly doubt it will be weaker than the 360.
I mean, the GC came out much, much smaller than the PS2 in about the same time difference as PS2-GC as 360-Rev and the GC is noticably more powerful than PS2.
Sure, toe-to-toe with the PS3 it will lose, as GC did toe-to-toe with Xbox, but if history is any indication (Anyone else noticing Nintendo is doing basically the same thing, over and over again, just with a cooler shell? Which that intself will make a huge difference, in my opinion anyway) it'll be in the middle in terms of raw power again, PLUS all their "new revolutionary ideas." I mean, look how small the PSslim got and it isn't weaker than PS2.
The Rev isn't all that smaller than GC anyway. If it is 3 DVD cases stacked, it may be an inch or two smaller in height, but longer in length. So it isn't leaps and bounds smaller, it just look more sleek and slick so it is perceived as much smaller. It isn't a toy, its tech.
Plus, it doesn't have a handle in the back to add to its size, and les ports in back too, and doesn't have the broad band adapter and serial ports slots on the bottom and stuff. That is all wasted GC space. If you trim the GC, it's pretty damn frickin' small and still more powerful than PS2.
We can expect this again..... just sexier.
So my vote is just as if not more powerful - PLUS ALL THE NEW FEATURES - over the 360. (Well, and PS3 will sit on it)
