Gamespot link says the characters and number of characters they add is based upon community feedback.

Let the begging begin. Who will it be, GAF?

All lies like the Capcom live arcarde game polls, feedback will only determine the order in which they're revealed.

Seriously fuck them if they include T Hawk and DeeJay above Makoto!

Are you kidding?

That was the huge reveal! Ken is getting a huge buff. Capcom listened to the droves and droves of flowchart Kens begging for improvements to the character.

Thanks Capcom.

Niiiiice.

Especially these tidbits right here:

The new game, Super Street Fighter IV, aims to build on the foundation laid by this year's SFIV by adding new content that includes more playable characters, improved online features, and rebalanced characters. We got a demonstration of the work-in-progress Xbox 360 version from producer Yoshinori Ono and have much to report.

aaaaaaaaaaaand:

This work will be key to SSFIV's online matches, which are getting some serious work done to them. While Ono wouldn't go into specific details, mostly saying that SSFIV will feature an online experience that is considerably enhanced over the one in SFIV, he dropped a pretty big hint that some form of lobby system may be added. This work will be key to SSFIV's online matches, which are getting some serious work done to them. That BETTER happen - at the very least, he knows what's up now!

Already on console right now, and it's gonna be arriving on shelves Spring 2010 - I think I can go to sleep now finally, even though I'm still not finished with my work - damn.

The only thing the trailer shows is that Ken might be getting some kind of upgrade since he's the one "winning" this time around.

Parry that shit! ;p

Probably the Tadan Saving attack that was mentioned earlier.

hopefully Kens fiercer look carries over in the actual game, he looks horrible in SF4.

Agree.

Hmm maybe current SFIV owners get the character balancing and/or any new costumes of Super?

Also it might read your existing SFIV save file perhaps.

Just throwing a couple of guesses out there. :D

CAPCOM IF YOU ARE READING THIS YOU HAVE 24 HOURS TO ANNOUNCE A PC RELEASE ALONGSIDE A CONSOLE RELEASE THIS SPRING. IF YOU FAIL TO COMPLY, YOU SHALL BE BOMBED WITH MY TEARS

I'm guessing $39.99 will be the price regardless of whether you think that's too high or not. I'll pay regardless though because I love the series so much. Can't wait to see what the changes are and I'm crossing my fingers for some new moves. Give Ryu his 3S kick and fake fireball back.

So Juri using TKD, is Korean, being pivotal to the new "story", confirmed.

And improvements all across the board. And new stages AND bonus stages. What makes me smile is that he reinforces how they look at forums to see the most requested characters and add them in. Basically, Dudley and Ibuki are highly likely.

Are the rumors true or are GameSpot misinformed, GameSpot say 8 characters and alot of them are not set in stone, whereas the rumors say 10 characters which we all know about.

well I believe the rumors as the rumors have got too much information right

Sorry if I am repeating but:

CONFIRMED! SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV IS A RETAIL DISC, NOT A DOWNLOAD

Also, Ono has confirmed that it will NOT BE FULL PRICE. In other words, it WILL NOT BE $60. It will cost less or "a price for what would we expect for an update".

Heyyyyyyyy I like what I'm hearing.
Give me more details about this online improvement and lobby system you talk and hint at Ono-san. Lobby system would've been awesome on day 1 the way SCIV did it.

Hopefully this gets released in time for EVO 2010.

I can't wait to see how many people will be going to EVO and watching the stream next year with this release. :D

Wait, I have to buy another game to play these two characters?

Why not make it a DLC for existing SF4 owners?
Less than full price, 8-10 new characters, tweaks to existing characters and core engine to rebalance the game, new stages, new costumes - seriously, you're complaining about this?

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

8 more characters incoming. New online. New balance.

Spring 2010 is alot sooner than I expected. That means this will probably be a simultaneous arcade/console release.

Unless there is no arcade release at all. Which would not be good.

Mostly complaining about the fact that I will have a mostly defunct copy of SF4 when this releases. Guess Capcom is going to get my money. Damn them. ;)
