I live in Germany now and the best matches/connections I've had have been with the PC version of SFIV (almost never can connect to anyone on PSN), . It's got a very active community all over Europe so I really hope Capcom is just pulling their usual hush hush PC sku tactics and eventually announces SSFIV for the platform

Getting more hyped about SSF4 recently. I started playing SF4 more so it's probably because of that. It's just disappointing that they didn't do anything nice for Boxer. Basically they just nerfed him.

1. Faster focus attack doesn't help Rog at all
2. The II Ultra doesn't seem that good. Needs to be faster.
3. Apparently Headbutt trade Ultra has been removed. Not a huge nerf but still a nerf.

Did they buff anything about him?

As a Rog player, I would say that he didn't need any buffs (or nerfs either, for that matter).

They buffed him by nerfing Gief Sagat and Ryu :lol

Yeah, same exact situation with Rufus. Rufus got no buffs that I remember reading about, got a few nerfs, but the "big three" getting nerfed will probably make him better and more viable in Super.

Sweep is faster, dunno about safer. I'm pissy about his elbow. Any word on that second hit being fixed?

Yes. This is a given for the 360 version thanks to party chat, but speaking on behalf of PSNers, if the lobbies behave like BlazBlue with regards to voice chat, We can even have commentary!

How is GAF SF player thread structured?

I was thinking it may be best to set up something where players are listed by the time zone / region they live in. Just in case Capcom still don't know good netcode, having a sorted list will help you find matches closer to you, which assuming the person you're playing isn't on Netzero, should help with data transfer issues, read: lagbutt!

Isn't there some kind of mapping thingee where you can input your location; without getting too personal? Like a geographical wiki / aggregator?

Sounds good. In the mean time, I'll continue to sharpen my claws and work around getting to know a couple of alts from the new roster. I think people online get bored of me playing Claw every match. 3 matches in, no matter the outcome, I get booted or they quit.

I have been worked on my Rose like crazy now, and I feel her so much better than Viper, which is sad considering all the hundreds of hours put into practicing her on pad -.-

But this is with arcade stick, and now I just cant wait for the new Ultra to arrive, and some buffz too : )

Rose is a great character!

Despite being rather Leno-esque in these games...
